What are Reward Points?

Reward Points are the currency for the Rewards Center. All items are valued in Reward Points. As you accumulate more Reward Points in your account, you will be able to afford more items in the Rewards Center.

How do I earn Reward Points?

Reward Points are given out for various accomplishments in our games. For more information on how to earn Reward Points in each game, please read the following knowledge base articles:

Can I use cash instead of Reward Points?

No. The Rewards Center is strictly for redemption of Reward Points.

How do you charge for shipping and handling?

Good news! Shipping and handling is already included in the number of Reward Points required for redemption - meaning you don't need to use any additional Rewards Points (or cash) to cover shipping and handling expenses.

NOTE: Reward Center merchandise requiring shipping can only be shipped within the United States and Canada.

Can I return an item?

Returns are only accepted for merchandise that is damaged, defective or mis-shipped. Returns will be honored for equal exchanges. No Reward Points credit will be issued. The manufacturers' warranty, if any, applies to all items offered.

How long until I receive my item?

Depending on what you ordered and who the supplier is, you should receive your item anywhere between 4-6 weeks after the order was placed. Obviously, items that do not require shipping will be available much sooner.

I cashed in my Reward Points for a WhatIfSports game. Where is my team/season?

When redeeming points for a WhatIfSports game, a credit is added to your account for the appropriate amount. This credit is eligible for only that game, but never expires. It can be used during your next purchase for that game.

Are Reward Points transferable?

No. Points earned on your account can only be redeemed by you. We will not be able to combine accounts or transfer your points to other accounts.

Can I order items as gifts for other people?

Absolutely! We require a shipping name and address at the time of the order. You may enter someone else's name and address if you wish and the item will be shipped to them.

I don't have a credit card, can I still use the Rewards Center?

Yes. If you buy your SimLeague teams without a credit card, you will still earn Reward Points. Credit card information is not needed for the Rewards Center since cash is not used.

Do Reward Points ever expire?

No. Your points will remain in your account for as long as your account is active and in good standing. If your account is in violation of our posted terms of use or fairplay guidelines, your Reward Points may be forfeited.

What does the status of my order mean?

Your order is given a status to let you know what's going on. Here's a brief description of each status:

  • Processing - Order was successful but has not been shipped yet
  • Shipped - All parts of the order have been sent out. Note: Gift Certificate orders to other merchants (such as Amazon) will be marked as "Shipped" when we ship the order to them. It may take up to an additional few days for them to fulfill the order. All merchants send gift certificates as claim codes via e-mail unless an e-mail address is not provided with the order.
  • Partially Shipped - The order contains multiple items, and some (but not all) have been shipped
  • Shipped By Email - Item was sent by email (usually referring to gift certificates)
  • Cancelled - Order has been cancelled or returned
  • On Hold - Order has been processed, but not yet shipped
  • Completed - Order containing all non-shippable items has been successfully processed

Can I order a gift certificate if I do not live in the United States?

WhatIfSports.com gift certificates will work on our site, no matter where you live! Third party gift certificates, such as those from Amazon.com, Buy.com, or Dick's Sports are subject to the policies of the vendors. At this time, only the NFL Shop, the NASCAR SuperStore, and the NHL Pro Shop will ship internationally. You can still use the other shops, however, if you are ordering them as gifts for people in the United States, or you intend to purchase products from these vendors that do not require shipment -- such as online music or software. Please check with the vendor to insure you are licensed to purchase online software in your country BEFORE redeeming a gift certificate.
