Seriously, though. Here in the U.S. of A. our Constitution provides us the "RIGHT" to due process. That means anyone "charged" or "accused" has the RIGHT to a hearing in a Court of Law to determine the validity of the charges filed vs. the accused. It's an Inherent Right of ALL here in our Country.
NOBODY (NO Authority) has the ability to just SAY someone is "criminal" and then spirit that individual away somewhere-----------whether to some Prison or to some spot OUT of the Country. It's OUR LAW!!
It's part of what guarantees Freedom for those that live in the U.S.
IF you moved here it would apply to YOU, as well.
Now the FACT is that this Garcia fellow (a DAD from Maryland)---- who is not a citizen but is married to one---- who has been in Court already and was GIVEN (by the Immigration Courts) permission to remain in OUR Country, and was issued an order protecting him from being sent to El Salvador, was then picked up and spirited away to some Prison WITHOUT ANY ability to dispute the Gov't's charges, thus without DUE PROCESS.
This is clearly against our OWN Law. And to many of us, no surprise that Donald Trump (the most LAWLESS POTUS EVER!!) would ignore LAW (as he routinely does!) and use vulnerable people to gain political advantage. It's his ONLY tactic.
Now the REAL Problem is--------- It's NOT just this Garcia fellow. There are literally 100's of these illegals who have been accused of being bad (gangmembers, etc.) and sent off to El Salvador without a SHRED of Due Process.
This threatens EVERY citizen and every person who resides within our borders.
Ultimately the U.S. Supreme Court will rule this an Illegal act. But in the meantime, our Freedoms are being eroded under the absolutely WORST POTUS of the 20th Century and beyond.
Now, how about a round of golf.
