The Full Shuffle (Poor Mans Version)

16 Team Format E (4/4 w/interleague play)
Seasons: 1955-2024
ALL Players must be less than $8M.

Once the League is full everyone will select a Franchise. Returning owners have first choice and they will be randomly drawn to determine order selection. New owners will pick next based on order of signup. I will select mine last.
Select 4 exclusive players from your Franchise: 1 Infielder, 1 Outfielder, 1 Starting Pitcher (SP), 1 Relief Pitcher (RP).
We'll then have a 21 round draft and everyone will pick from a different Franchise for each pick.

For this version we will use all 30 Franchises. I will Shuffle them for each round. Only 16 of the 30 will be used each round. Which means each round the 16 used will change. You will have 1 day to make your pick starting immediately after I post the Franchises for that round. There will be no waiting for someone before you to pick. If you don't make your pick by the time I post the next round and someone has that Franchise in the next round, they can make their pick before you. Missed picks can be made up at anytime but all picks made before that are valid. Versions before this averaged about 2 rounds per day so this hasn't been a problem so far.

The 4 players chosen before the Draft are exclusive for that Franchise.
Players taken in the draft are only exclusive by season, so you must state which season you are taking when you make your pick.

Must use primary position to be one of your 4. (Can still play anywhere)
Utility is not eligible.

Also, combined seasons are allowed as long as you use the correct version from your Franchise.

A question about position eligibility for hitting keepers:

Can they count as either IF or OF if they have position ratings at both? Or are they only eligible at their primary position for that season?

Also, if someone has a primary position of Utility (DH) but does have a rating at a position, is that person eligible at all or not? Thanks.

Adding to the rules.

At what point do we consider going on the clock for the franchise selection? Does slim senior even realize that the draft started?

How are we designating RPs? Total innings, IP/G, etc.?

All pitchers are designated as SP or RP. Just use the "Min Games at" box to indicate SP or RP

I'm really looking forward to this draft but the fun is currently being sucked out of it...

This thread hasn't even been open for 24 hours yet. A lot of impatience off the bat.

I honestly don't think slim senior knows the draft has started. He hasn't opened the site-mail I sent 23 hours ago. If he hasn't checked the site in nearly a day, what evidence do we have that he will check in 2 days, 3 days, etc.?
