GD is a great game with a few glitches. Hopefully some of these are fixed with new effort coming into the mix. One of the smaller, yet most unrealistic issues in the game is QB fatigue. It seems as though all positions tire at the same rate which is wholly unrealistic. For example, a DL can be winded after 12 straight snaps where a QB would not be anything but fully warmed up in real life.

This creates the obvious problem when your backup freshman QB is running red zone offense.

I get what clayolson1 is saying -- IRL, the QB is the only non-ST position where 1 player usually gets 100% of snaps.

That said, the game is not IRL -- the simulation has its own rules, and we bend to them or perish.
