For the most part, people who respond to polls as "undecided" are voting for Trump and lack the testicular fortitude to admit it to pollsters they fear might actually be respectable, thinking human beings.

No. The problem is that pretty much everybody knows going in that neither of these guys is going to say anything new or interesting. We know their policies, we know what they believe (to the extent that Trump really believes anything), and frankly, we know that the bar for these debates could be roughly described as "coherent." There's no chance of either candidate doing anything to convince anyone of the rectitude of their positions who didn't already support them. It's just pointless.

McCain/Obama was a while ago, but it feels longer.

Last night was embarrassing. To the maximum. For the Country.
