I just entered a Champs league with 7 in it. Are these things filling anymore? Seems like this has been sitting for a while.

One Champs league was completed in May. Two were completed last year.

to me they're sort of "out of sight and out of mind". Guessing a concerted effort to gather support on the message forums might help generate some interest.

We need just 8 more right now.

I prefer theme leagues I don't like playing the same old players and strategies over and over again..Champs Leagues were once popular in the old days but owners lost interest when there were a plethora of offbeat teams playing the loopholes in the Sim those days. Made a brief comeback a few years ago with a lot of promotion in the forums, not popular now and the WiS participation in general has been shrinking.

The extra rewards (this mainly) and AAA, plus the generally stellar competition, make them exciting enough for me... knowing many will be running similar, popular strategies that generally succeed, make them more interesting for me as it's a chance to try other, fun off beat teams to beat them. Also, a great place to run test teams, as you're less likely to have a false positive as in an OL where you get to face weak competition or fatigued pitchers.
