Gavin Lux drives in a run

The regular season for an Ohtani tribute league just ended. League rules required drafting pitchers who gave up lots of home runs and poor throwing catchers to allow the 2024 Ohtani's to put up big numbers.

We drafted 2008 Jack Cust as a cheap corner outfield option. He put up a .220/.313/.539 slash line in 684 PAs, hitting 57 home runs. But the craziest part? 289 strikeouts, leading the league by a mile!

In the recently completed season 85 of the OTLOD league I had a AAA guy who led the league in triples with 19.
Not common but not "believe it or don't" territory. The wild thing is he led the league and got his 19 triples with only 282 ABs!
Even stranger he had no triples in his last 47 ABs
