Just copied one of fatguy's leagues from the past....

"Winners into Losers 13 (The second time we are doing it backwards)



Pick a division winner 1969-Present
You Will Lose
1. Leading HR Hitter
2. Highest Batting Average Among the Starters(Can not be the same person)
3. Starting pitcher with the most wins.

4. You must replace them with 3 players from your franchise who have salaries under 4 million.
5. You may twist one other hitter & pitcher to any season in their career.

Example- If I took the 2022 Astros, I would lose DH/OF Yonder Alonzo, 2B Jose Altuve, P Justin Verlander.
I would replace them With 2004 Carlos Beltran, 1969 Joe Morgan, 1988 Danny Darwin.
Then I would twist P Lance McCullers & OF Michael Brantley

A couple of questions:

1) What constitutes a starting hitter(for the batting average)?
2) for twisting, do we use WIS rosters or baseball reference rosters?

Find starters by loading through "historical team" mode
you can do this through the open league or use your "free team" option. The starters are the rosters established by WIS.
use twisting only via the use of WIS rosters
