How does the draft work?

If someone takes a season of Bill Russell, can I pick a different season of Bill Russell?

No, only one version of any player is allowed to be drafted.

If you go to the Theme Leagues forum, change the date range of posts to “last year” or “all,” then you can look at previous DDL drafts to get a sense of how it goes
