Perhaps a glimmer of hope for the future? My sincere hope is that sim leagues don't fall to the back of the queue for investment/development. I know the Dynasty games bring in more revenue...

I know there’s technical work to be done, but I want to know how they’re going to grow the game. In the past, I suggested an app to play LIVE, but nowadays, I don’t know many people who still play games on their phones. The trend nowadays that I see is that sports trivia is popular on social media apps like TikTok. Maybe they can make a social media team to do baseball trivia videos to bring attention to the site?

I like that the guy is a long-term fan of the game and that it sounds like WIS will be his top priority. Those are two things we haven't had with the past couple owners. I only hope he has the technical aptitude and diligence to do things right.

I would love to be able to log in and play some live games.

it's good that the new President is someone who is a long time site user. I feel as this site has been losing owners as it seems harder to recruit for new league and existing leagues.

Maybe...just maybe...the progressive league format can be recognized for how important it is and we can get some support to make progressives easier to run, fill and play in! It's nice to get an EMail from the owner and he certainly build some trustworthiness by leading with "one of us". Hopefully it will translate to across the board improvements for the games and site.

completely agree, progressives are the best thing about the site and the closest you get to real baseball. many owners sign up, start with open leagues, and then leave because they get crushed using their favorite players against the Cookie All Stars.

I'd be happy to put together a quick progressives guide to help steer newbs in the right direction there.

100% agree with you, Frazz and 06gsp.

Potentially fantastic news! Can't wait to see the changes they make!

The Release mentioned dynasty like 4 times and didn't mention sim leagues once. I wouldn't hold our breath.

Totally agree 06 and I would also be willing to help, contribute or evaluate anything you want to pull together. As a young Cardinals fan in the late 1970s, I remember seeing Garvey, Parker, Winfield, etc dominate. You seldom see any of those guys used in open leagues. On the RP side, you seldom see Fingers or Sutter used.
