I would be up for another round as well, although I would prefer no blacklist. I do like the $13M cap to remove the ultra-studs.
Since people are throwing out suggestions...
If doing a 24-team league (regardless if it's 12 AL / 12 NL or any 24 franchises), I would suggest the following change.
1. Each team would take only two players from his franchise, one hitter and one pitcher.
2. Then hold a 23-round draft similar to what is currently being done, except...
(a) create the "franchise distribution grid" in advance so that each person would draft one player from each of the other 23 franchises. Call these schedules 1, 2, 3... 23. (You'd have to set this up in advance to guarantee nobody would have more than one player per franchise).
(b) the exact order of selection would still be random... at the beginning of each round, you would draw a random number between 1 and 23.
This will mitigate some of the luck due to randomness. Getting 3-4 players from the Yankees or Dodgers is not the same as getting 3-4 players from the Twins or Padres. Also, with 24 franchises (instead of 16), the difference between the "best" and "worst" franchises is even greater, making it even more important to balance things out.
