Bummed this could be your last Commish effort, seay00. Your draft league and this idea have been both challenging and entertaining. I still miss those draft leagues. Along with DCarden’s 50mill league, they’ve been the most entertaining leagues in my opinion. But I also get it, I gave up on my attempt at a theme league much earlier.

Thanks DCarden and danpsull for the positive feedback. I agree Sim Football could be so much more and should have a bigger following.

And thanks PW for entering the second team! Also placed a hold on Kansas State for DCarden. Page 1 of this thread has the full updates and owner list.

4 spots left if we get all claimed teams entered into the league. I will sitemail Poddy and specsman to see where they are at with their team build.

And for the division placement, PW will need to go to the AFC East vice the AFC West (geo-fit format). This allows DCarden to have different division mates in each conf and vice-versa for PW. KSU is slated for the NFC West.

Syracuse- soxyport
Washington- PsychoWarper

AFC Central

Illinois- seay00

Why not put Washington in NFC West? Seems to make more sense than NFC East.

PsychoWarper already has 1 team in the NFC West with USC. The AFC West may have been the best possible geo-fit for Washington in the AFC, but in the spirit of mixing up your division mates in each conference, this allows the 2 team owners to play different 2 team owners in each conference.

Otherwise, you would have two of the 2 team owners in the same division in each conference playing each 4 times in the regular season. Or, 1 owner with 2 teams in the same division or same conference. Gets a little tricky with a half dozen people having 2 teams. I got a lot of practice with this in the 4 seasons of the NFL Draft League. I would have to compare the previous year of division alignments to ensure the scheduling would be fair and all teams were eventually getting to play each other.

Great. We will reserve a spot for you with the school to be claimed this weekend. Page 1 list updated.

- 21 schools claimed
- 18 teams have entered league NFL28676.
- 3 schools claimed and not yet entered into the league

This leaves 3 spots available at the current time to anyone out there. Lets get 'em in and get this started!

***For those stopping in for the first time, or those still considering which school to claim, you can view the list on Page 7 of this thread with direct hyperlinks to some very good schools/players/stats. This was a quick list that I put together (of what I would happily compete with), but feel free to pick any school still available that can roster 21 spots from their alum base. The kicker and punter may be pulled from elsewhere if little or no choices available. Only the Washington Huskies has been claimed from that list so far.***

Any interest in carrying this Alumni theme over to WIS basketball after the season is complete? it's been done quite a few times and makes for fun competition. No requirement to use the same schools you've chose for football, of course.

You would likely get some people interested in a college to NBA theme. Go for it.

I like the NBA sim the least. No strategy and it’s all about efficiency. Everyone fighting over role players like Nene, Thaddeus Young or Pervis Ellison. I do love Hoops Dynasty though! All about strategy and developing a program!

Agree...Hoops Dynasty is definitely a better product than the NBA sim.

Looks great. Panthers are placed in the AFC West as noted above. Page 1 also updated. A few more adventurous souls to jump in and we will be on our way.
