One of my five playoff teams advanced to the second round. One was eliminated by a grand slam by Sandy Koufax. Good times.

I would apologize for being one of the teams that upset you, but it's my only team advancing thus far so I kinda can't feel too bad about it.

Unless I misunderstood how we described it, I'm pretty sure the #1 team drafts first. So you'd get the honor of drafting first in Round 2 ...

You're joking. Not only do the people in first get the best players, further dividing the gap for Round 2, I threw for nothing?

If you get draft 24th, you will be in the same division as 21st, 22nd and 23rd. So there's that.

Er, actually, it's this:

Alignment: Based on total salary (highest in NL East to lowest in AL West)

I guess that helps when my rotation is headlined by Derek Lowe

What a disappointing end to the season. With 2 games to go in regular season, I was in top 13, and had 3 playoff teams. Then my clone team blew a 2 game lead in WC and lost the play in game. Final two teams bounced quickly in 1st round. Now I may be outside looking in at the cage when all said and done.

Oh right. I was making the assumption that all the overly high priced players would go early, so those teams may end up in the same division. It's not a lock that the 21st-24th teams will have the lowest salaries.

Last year, the last advancing person had 546 points, but that was with 96 teams... so that cut line may be lower.

Wonder how much extra we'd have to pay to teach the sim how a double-switch actually works.

Officially eliminated and looks like I'll finish somewhere in the low 30s. Overall, not horrible for being away from the site for a couple of years and being a literal last minute replacement in the tournament. Best of Luck to all those advancing.
