As of the pm2 cycle I had climbed up to 26th, just a game out of the Cage ... so of course I had a 1-5 am cycle to shove me back down again. The long arc is still upward, but I know a lot of us will be sweating out the whole second half of the season.

6 straight 3-3 cycles. Sadly, I think all my teams are 3-3 in that span too.

You are also the highest ranked team with zero playoff teams (currently). You also have the second highest difference between Exp Win% and Actual Win%...Fifth worst 1-run record.

My $120M team just put up four runs in the 1st inning…and proceeded to lose 5-4 in 14 innings. An offense with Ruth, Gehrig, Bonds and Lajoie shutout for 13 innings. This game has become such a joke.

I've finally hit a tie for 24th. Now it's time to watch the pendulum of cruelty send me back down a few notches, I'm sure.

The sim gods were actually quite kind, gifting me a schwarze in the pm cycle. Now I want to see the standings update every cycle.

Nope. No shows. Just poker... roughly 160 hours in 17 days.

This reminds me of the time in the 70s when my mom met Erik Estrada. She never watched any TV and had no idea who he was. He gave her a big smile and said, "I'm on a show called Chips." She asked him, "Is it about Las Vegas?" He stopped smiling.

I finally had time to add the 140M Data tab to the standings. At some point, I will add the distribution of Babe Ruth seasons.

FINALLY!! In game 94, just as I was starting to wonder if it was time to accept an also-ran position, my first Schwarze! Guess I'll hang in a little longer.

schwarze, how did you do in poker. Were you in WSOP?

I played mostly cash games as that's where the consistent income comes from. I played in one WSOP tournament, the Super Senior's event. I was knocked out when my KK lost to AK (all-in preflop). Ironically, in last year's WSOP Senior's Event, I also got knocked out with KK (cooler vs AA). Maybe I should just fold KK.

I was up almost $2000 for the entire trip though.

Congrats. I am not a (good) gambler, I met 2 of my brothers in Vegas for 3 days. I limited my losses to $200/day. After 3 days I was up $20. I felt like I had won $620, since I hadn't lost any of the days. That's my idea of a success in Vegas. Yours was much better!!!

I have 4 teams currently in position to make the playoffs, but it would be hard for the margin to be thinner. The combined division leads for these teams is 4 games.
