Thanks, I guess.

Not that I'm going to make the 2nd round, but just curious. I don't follow the $100m theme. How do 6 franchises make a 3 x 3 grid for 9 players? I guess I need someone to draw me a picture.

Given that grid, I assume you have to select 9 players where each player at least played for the 2 intersecting franchises (so players who *only* played for a singular team their entire career can't be one of the 9 players being cloned but could be a teammate).

Correct on all counts.

And since it might be asked, in theory some of your clones could also qualify as playing for other franchises you selected, too. But he will only be able to represent two of them at that particular intersection. For example, you use Cubs and Dodgers horizontally and Braves vertically. You could use Greg Maddux as a Cub-Brave combo or as a Dodger-Brave combo in that setup, but not Cubs-Dodgers because they wouldn't intersect.

Is it allowed to clone the same player multiple times or is it nine different players.

Using your example, if I select Cubs/Dodgers/Padres horizontally and Braves vertically, can I get *six* versions of Greg Maddux (which I think would be 3 Braves version, and 1 each of Cubs/Dodgers/Padres).

Will the 255m have the same draft order throughout? Or is this one of those where your total salary determines the order?

Answer to both questions...

9 different players
Same draft order

Then, er ... thanks!

You know, when I ran an Immaculate Grid theme last year I included category limitations (4 choices per spot), which I actually believed was a kindness because it reduced the potential research significantly. But I also know that for a Round 2 theme people generally prefer less restriction so they can optimize the strategy they want to use. That said, I also realize you could spend 400 hours on this and never be satisfied.

Wow, that may be the dumbest question I've ever asked, given that I used to play Immaculate Grid every day. SORRY!

Very interesting and challenging themes. Fortunately (or unfortunately), I don't have to worry about making it to the cage.

I am proposing that we run the themes for the owners ranked 25-48, too, as a fun chance to play them all, too.

Question regarding $100m league: Could you have a clone of a player's partial seasons from two different teams in the same year.

Say Player A has 500 ABs for Cubs in 2000 and 200 ABs for the Royals in the same year. Could you add both of those and have that count as one of your clones?
