Wild Win For My Daughter! Topic

There's no need to be worried or hating on my daughter. I can understand the jealousy because she's been crushing it at a young age but damn!

And if you REALLY don't believe me check out the episode of Majique's podcast where I was the guest. We were talking about how our whole family plays. I believe my daughter even made an appearance on the podcast.

Congrats.

One point of clarification: So you're both theromper and emmaw1111? Aren't we supposed to have only one team per world?
He runs one team. His daughter runs the other. I don’t understand the problem here.

And BTW, that isn’t the rule. The rule is that you cannot have two teams in the same world within 1,000 miles of each other.
Is this a for real rule? I just noticed 2 signups in the same conference with names that make it obvious it’s the same person. Just curious.
What names?

You should send a ticket to WIS about that. For anyone to "control" two teams in the same conference is definitely against the rules.

"In any case more than one team per world just seems like a horrendously bad idea, too much potential and opportunity for abuse even at 1000 miles."
Horrendously bad idea is putting it mildly. The teams the OP control and those he claims his 12-yo daughter controls violate even that rule in Stagg, Warner and Yost.
I do. I have Holy Cross in Yost, Sam Houston State in Stagg, and New Hampshire in Warner, I do all my recruiting and game planning mostly by myself as well, so I’m confused by this. I haven’t won a championship but I’m trying too, so this is rude, I am 12 and I am a girl and I was on the podcast. Also, why would only he have championships and I don’t? And why would he have a world before I was born if I “wasn’t playing”? Interesting.

I’m emmaw1111 and he is theromper. And there is no possible way to have 2 teams.

That's sad. I was just really excited for her amazing win and wanted to share it since it's so rare to see an onside kick recovered then lead to a game winning score - especially since it was my daughter!

This is something we do together every day. It's one of our favorite ways to spend time together.

Believe what you guys want. I love that my daughter loves sports and plays WIS with me.

Well, I watched a TTATO with theromper on it, and I'll accept that he has some teams and, at least in name, his daughter has others on which he has input. Honestly, this still appears to violate the spirit of the rules. At best, it was an unwise choice to play in the same worlds. As someone pointed out above, there are plenty of worlds through which to avoid the appearance of impropriety. You have ten teams between you, so you could keep that number of teams without having more than one in any world.
Congrats to theromper and emmaw1111 on their championship.

Looking at it from that perspective I understand what you’re saying. But honestly, I didn’t even think of it because we thought it was fun to play in the same world. She even played her mom to go to the final four one time. i’m going to be dropping a few teams and I’ll make sure that we split up the worlds as I do.

I do want to assure you guys that we have no intention of colluding or cheating or anything mischievous. We have a really good time playing this game, and I know neither of us would enjoy cheating to win.

I have to say if you believe emmaw1111 controls her own team which I do then she and theromper have broken no rules. Congrats on the win and being excited. Sure seems better than being on tick tok.

Yeah if they are colluding I really don't think he/her would've brought it up in the first place.
Now the Chode twins with 2 teams in the same D3 conference.....that needs fixed.

I agree with Ranger. Congrats to your daughter !

There was a guy named Tigerpark way back when when he posted about his son having an account. Turns out he didn’t have a son that played just used that account to cheat. After more investigation he had more than 2 accounts. Full blown cheating scandal. Not that I’m saying this is the same but best to stay quiet lol

My last hope is my youngest daughter. I married a non-sports person, and my children carry the same disinterest for sports that she has. My youngest daughter enjoys the excitement of the crowd, so I am hoping to rope her in when she attends a game with me.
