It certainly does. Only 1 team can be in the desert.

Tennessee is not better than Texas or LSU.

IMO I would love TENN easier reaches to recruits. At Texas you get a batch of TX ones but some might not be your fit. Either force to accept it or go OOS. LSU you get 7 LA recruits. Hope they fit your team then have to go MS, AL, AR, TX for the rest. Then go win your division then conference. TENN plays small area Florida. Just my opinion can’t go wrong with any of those 3.

Tennessee recruiting is not easy. You are surrounded on all sides (Ohio St, Bama, Georgia, UNC). Also there are far fewer in-state recruits than Ga and Ala, and you usually have to battle for those on the southern border of the state.

Fortunately, there is the elite advantage, but I’ve found it to be hardest among the elites I’ve had (Ala, Fla, Mich, Neb and Miami).

Tennessee not only you have your own state but theres always an area around you to pipeline. Not all worlds are full in that region.
Ohio, Kentucky, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama. Usually UGA is SIM, if USC and UNC are SIM too Tennessee can be unstoppable. I would think UF would be a nightmare to coach at because you have Miami below you and FSU to the west. Leaving you to take a few FL then battle TENN and Bama for GA recruits. Again, just my opinion. TX and LSU are def top 5.

Tennessee is a good spot, but seeing it at 2 on someone’s list is a little head scratchy. You gotta be crafty there. What chetty said is spot on. All the good stuff south of you is closer to bama and uga. Ohio st is right there, you will see nd, you will see half the big east, almost all the acc. Being in the middle is a double edged sword. There is a learning curve and you gotta learn how to use it without cutting your own arm off. Ninersfan can tell you. His Tennessee team is in the middle of a who’s who list of coaches. Gotta get crafty. And not much of it is gonna come easy.

With that said, Tennessee just opened up in Bryant for anyone interested. The previous coach was very talented, and handsome, so it looks like a good gig!

top six winningest schools, all eleven worlds combined

school wins
USC 25658
Penn State 25268
Texas 25100
Miami (FL) 24481
LSU 24309
Alabama 23808

beyond those six, any school you name is not in the top ten of every world

Yep, you can't argue with the facts. That's a good list. Although if I was ranking them without looking at the numbers, I would have put Penn State, USC, and Texas on the top 3 pedestals, in that order.

Can you make a list of national titles instead of wins? I would base top schools with most titles and recruiting area.

I only say this bc USC plays 0 elites in conference but do they win titles against others. Compared to Tennessee and the rest.
