No. I am in favor of what the scientific community is saying. I don’t know what you are cherry picking.
I am writing about the scourge of one group of non scientists telling another group to ignore science and all of the psychological and social factors going into that social disease.
The Paris Accord is a framework but not even that is followed because of the tactics of the conservatives in too many countries.
I am not educated well enough to debate the science details and I will not. That is futile nonsense.
You are avoiding a direct conversation. You talk in generaities yet refuse to get into specifics, that's fearmongering and propaganda. I give you the opportunity to cherry pick your own talking points and you run away. You could put in layman's terms what you think should be done but you will not.
Intellectual activity involves the sharing of ideas and concepts, not its avoidance. You do not need to be a specialist to talk about a subject. You are not a Ph.D. in Political Science nor Economics yet you feel empowered to say what's on your mind all the time concerning the two. we all do and none of us are lettered in those fields.
Since you will not converse about Climate Change Theory, you can not be taken seriously about it.
Any time you wish to step up and put your beliefs on the line, I'll be here.
I am talking about why some people will not listen to science. I let the scientists talk the science.
I am not qualified to talk the science.
I can’t talk the science behind the covid vaccine but I can be qualified to say based on the proven science and the qualifications of the scientists - that anyone belittling the vaccine was a moron and a nutcase and a buttcase( I made that one up just now) and sort of suicidal.
The science can be read if one would like.
We are in 2023. We can all see what is happening especially as the scientists who were mocked said it would happen just as it is playing out.
I am a consumer of information.
The time for discussing the legitimacy of the scientific information is long gone asked and answered.
im not going to play a game of getting into the science debate. Pointless and I would be embarrassed to entertain it.
So that is my final answer.
Debate amongst yourself. :).
By the time I get to Phoenix is one of my favorite songs. Of course Glen Campbell but my favorite is the deeply depressing melancholy masterpiece by Frank Sinatra recorded after Christmas 1968 - one take.
At 53 he no longer had the golden voice but he could squeeze out every possible angst and nuance contained within a song and still nobody could come close.
Don’t go to Phoenix. Will have no less then 18 consecutive days of 110 degrees and could go beyond that.
