here are a few democrat miscreans:

FBI arrests former Rep. T.J. Cox on dozens of fraud charges

John Edwards and the Mistress: A Breakdown of One of America's Most Sensational Scandals

Andrew Cuomo resigned in August 2021 after an Attorney General's Office report that found he sexually harassed multiple women, including current or former state employees. He was also facing criticism over his witholding of data about COVID-19's imoact on nursing homes, and his use of state employees to produce a book he published.

The governor of Illinois, Rod Blagojevich, was arrested on Tuesday on “staggering” corruption charges that alleged he tried to sell the U.S. Senate seat vacated by fellow Democrat, President-elect Barack Obama.

Laura Richardson (D - CA) was found guilty on seven counts of violating US House rules by improperly using her staff to campaign for her, destroying the evidence and tampering with witness testimony. The House Ethics Committee ordered Richardson to pay a fine of $10,000 (equivalent to $12,747 in 2022) (2012).

Thomas Porteous (D) Judge of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana was impeached, convicted and removed from office December 8, 2010, on charges of bribery and lying to Congress (2010)

Corrine Brown (D-FL) was convicted on 18 felony counts of wire and tax fraud, conspiracy, lying to federal investigators, and other corruption charges (2017)

Anthony Weiber (D-NY)[164] was convicted of sending sexually explicit photos of himself to a 15-year-old girl and was mandated to register as a sex offender. He also was sentenced to 21 months in prison, a charge that was later reduced to 18 months. He reported to prison in November 2017 and was released in May 2019 (2017).

Took me about 4 minutes to find those.
Those are a few over many years but most of those don’t have anything to do with being in politics for personal power which is what you said the point was.

Nobody thinks that Anthony Weiner was anything less then obsessed with helping working poor and working class and strengthening democracy.
You bring up a guy with personal problems having nothing to do with politics or thirst for power.

The only one there that makes sense in Bologovuch.
he fits into my 1-3%
Edwards May have lied about a campaign finance issue by hushing up an affair ( he was actually acquired because of intent doubts ) but what does any of it have to do with the sincerity behind the mission of his life in improving lives.

You are mixing some corruption or personal problem issues with a broad broad comment that most dem pols are in politics for the experience of power.

Sorry - but I don’t see that at all and i would like some examples from the federal pols - house and senate.

Laura Richardson - you are mixing up corrupt mistakes with lacking dedication to causes and being in politics to help people.
Wanting to win and breaking rules is not the same as caring only about power.
why do you think they break rules and want to win??? To keep whatever power they have. I'm done talking about this. You believe what you belive and I'll believe what I believe.
You are done because you can’t handle what I just wrote and you can’t disassemble the act from the original intention.
if you cannot separate A. Weiner’s personal sex issue from his ferocious desire to improve his city state and country then you don’t understand what you yourself are saying.

but that’s ok.

the 2 I agree with are bogdonovich and cuomo.
I can see a case for saying that they got into politics for power much more then Justice and serving the public.
the others not so much.

If you are going to deny that 99.9999888988999999999% of every human being that ever lived has at least a little bit of self gain no matter what their occupation or station then you don’t understand the way that human beings in a society greater then 2 operates.
Blankets statements that you make have no place in a real world.

I just think it is insane to evenly compare the hearts of dem and republicans in national congress if you are a person who usually votes dem.
if you do live in the real world it makes no sense to then say oh BTW they are both the same people.

it makes zero zero zero zero sense.
it does sound like - job provider - sorry no vacancy for another dem policy job. Ok are anyRepublican policy jobs available. I have taken the oath of power to me and not the people.
Yes you must take an oath that no matter what is available that you have power hunger and you are in it for you first.

it is way way way more prevekant for republicans re your power theory but I don’t even think this self power libel applies to most republicans.

Your conclusion is what one might say very facile.
Very simplistic and superficial.
And I don’t get it.

Santos - Cruz - trump says -only in it for power but the vast - in it for despicable policies including power for white peoples.

and on a human level and I am including republicans wanting to be liked is not a thirst for power.

once again, I never said they were all the same. I guess you keep missing that part, Some are certainly better human beings than others. But my opinion is that to get the higher levels of public office, there is some ego involved and some love of power. You don't agree, that is fine. You are certainly entitled your opinion. You may even be right. I am entitled to my opinion and I may be right.

BOMBSHELL: Whistleblowers Drop a 'Fat Man' on America's First Crackhead
BY KEVIN DOWNEY JR., JUN 22, 2023
I hate to say this because it is immature and vulgar but look at the picture of Kevin Downey Jr.
He looks like part snorting pig and part disheveled crackhead.

ps Trump called Barr a gutless pig so I’m covered.

No offense to Doug but I will pay attention to the word bombshell when it comes from a much more respected journalist or outlet.

That does not mean that there is no possible story and I think that everything should be done to both make sure that everything was 100% above board and if it was then that should be communicated and explained to the country in great detail.

Fortunately the prosecution was by an experienced Trump appointed prosecutor who says that he was neither influenced or impaired After the investigation continued during the Biden administration.

You put your faith in crazy stuff that would be simple simple simple to prove if true.

I will say on the side of the normal people.
we all make our own choices.

I don't think Biden should go to prison after convictions and impeachment. He's too old. All his relatives involved in the payouts should pay all the money back to the IRS and serve time as sentenced. Joe should have to sell everything and move into a small 2 bedroom rancher. He would be provided food, basic cable tv and so forth. After all, he was President. He would have to wear an ankle bracelet and his wife would have to live with him. Of course Hunter would have to live with them in the other bedroom. They would be allowed monitored visitation once a month in a special room with a glass divider and phones. They would have to share the bath. Them having to live with each other should be punishment enough.

They could get house arrest at Mara-logo while Trump can live in the Big House.
