Judge's OPS+ is smack dab in the middle of 2008 Albert Pujols and 2015 Bryce Harper for reference.

Slightly better than 1994 Kevin Mitchell and one spot behind 1923 Harry Heilmann.

I’m with Doc on Judge. I’m guessing low to mid $9mm. His defense is very good, so he’ll get a premium for that as well.

Does pricing take normalization into account? Yes, Judge is similar to a lot of other players, but I’d bet he normalizes a lot better. League OPS is what, .704?

This post has a rating of , which is below the default threshold.
The $9.7M 2001 Luis Gonzalez is similar, but with half the strikeouts. He's also an A+ fielder.

If Judge is AVG+: 130+, OBP+: 140+, SLG+: 190+ he’d be more inline with 1924/1926 Ruth or 1941-1942 Williams. I’d put him at $10m plus easily. Maybe 11-13 mil.

Gonzo’s 162 SLG+ probably doesn’t do enough justice for judge

Ryan Helsley from the Cardinals and Emmanuel Clase from the Guardians look like great closers.

The Rays have a few good options as setup guys like Pete Fairbanks and Jason Adam. JP Feyereisen only has 24.1 IP and is on the 60-day DL otherwise he might be the best SIM reliever ever!
I haven’t been this disappointed in a RP not hitting 25 innings since Ryan Pressly didn’t get to 25 after his trade to Houston.

Also peep Chris Martin, almost made it to 25 innings WITHOUT A WALK! Took 23 innings before he issued his first one, sub .6 WHIP
Martin ends the season with 24.2 IP and .53 WHIP. I’m so disappointed. That damn 0.1 IP outing Monday

A number of near-misses on killer relief seasons with guys completing just under 25 IP.
10/5/2022 9:21 PM
Helsley finished up with 0.742 WHIP, 28 hits and 20 BB in 64 2/3 innings, did allow 6 HR, mostly late in the season.

Another near-miss, Daniel Hudson almost had another cheap, stud season, which would’ve made him very useful in clone leagues

I've got Judge as similar to Yaz '67, with better defense:

Yaz: Judge:
AVG+ 138 129
OBP+ 138 138
SLG+ 175 177
OPS+ 159 158
HR/100# 7.57 7.52

Add in the better defense and SB/SBA against Yaz's base salary of $8,421,979, I'd peg Judge around $8.8-9.0m

Judge at $9.7M. At a glance, it feels like some of the 2022 RP are a bit underpriced.

I don't understand how speed ratings are calculated, but on no planet should Trea Turner be only a 79. He was 94/95 his first couple seasons and should still be up there.
