Keeping It Real

Lets say that Biden lost to Trump and pulled the same shenanigans and set an angry mob comprised of Antifa ( if there even are 1000 of them ) on fire.

Is it far fetched to believe that right wingers would have descended on the capitol guns a blazing and mowing down Antifa with machine guns like Carlton in 71.
Lost in the discussion is that if Pence murdered the constitution as in Democracy According To Trump there would have been plenty of republican senators in the chamber to vote with Pence to throw the election to the states where republicans held the legislatures.

Funny how the republicans appropriated the term patriots in all things media and talk shows and when describing each other over the past 20 years or so.
Fact is that those so called patriots are the most unpatriotic citizens of the country and would be happy to become the new nazis in a country under Trump marshall law where the supreme court would have no power to stop the autocrat and trump loyalists would replace true americans in police and national guard and all government positions including military brass.

There would have had to have been a bloody civil war to capture Trump and replace him and replace the military and police and fraudulent political appointees around the country.

This literally could have happened if not for Pence refusing to stand back and stand by.

Humpty Trumpty

Trump is so livid over Ivanka’s appearance on The Hearing Show that he sent out an angry tweet where he referred to his daughter as Ivanka Trump - that can’t be good - and said that Bill Barr sucks - such scintillating prose by the bard of the lowest common denominator of the right wing republican Klan.

He must get put down by the Justice Department or there definitely is no god.

Personally I’d like to see him hanged in the village square like Mussolini like he wanted for Pence.

Wonder what the penalty for sedition is?? Especially for a so-called Commander in Chief, anyone want to inform me?

whatever it is it would be no different for Trump because we still have a rule of law and no one is above the law.
I think sedition can be a penalty of up to 20 years.
and fines. Should be more.

Eventually, there will be lawsuits against Trump and others for wrongful death and serious injuries.
Because of his deep pockets Trump could end up holding the bag.
I wonder if insurance coverage could even be used.
That would be interesting.

He was still president and his speech could be considered to be in the scope of being President.

The whole thing is uncharted and the tangling and untangling is going to be fascinating.

Maybe Trump’s words and actions and failure to act must be considered criminal for him to be prosecuted individually responsible despite presidential immunity.
It is going to be interesting.

Disneyworld now owns a big piece of Fox News. 18 months ago their ratings were rising and CNN falling off a cliff. Only one you could believe was Fox. That is changing as we speak.. recently they had some jerk on there and it was like a Saturday Night Live would be stand up comic. both sickening and kind of vulgar

Nobody failed at anything Thursday night.
The committee laid out the evidence they are going to release that shows that our last LOSER POTUS tried to commit a coup d'etat.

5 more public hearings are to come.
I certainly expect them to produce the evidence that will clearly demonstrate (even to fools who don't matter, like YOU) EXACTLY how, why, and what the world's most brazen con man DID to try and usurp OUR Laws and illegally seize control of the head of our State. This sacred Republic we term the U.S.A.

I don't KNOW you personally, you are correct.
But your words speak loudly. I've known MANY men like you.
Blinded by belief in false dogma.
You are in large company. Millions of fools on this globe.

In Arizona, the Republicans spent OVER 5 MILLION DOLLARS of Arizona's taxpayers dollars, trying to find proof of fraud in Maricopa County to try and assist Trump in his coup d'etat. I think a few million spent proving the former POTUS organized a coup plot is money well spent!!

No matter what republicans thought of democrats before Trump started his racist campaign in 2015 ( Obama was not born in the United States and demonizing Mexican people trying to live in the USA )
only fools, haters and uninformed people do not realize that the GOP at every level is literally evil OBJECTIVELY.

I don’t throw the E word around willy nilly.
These are the issues making them Evil -

1. blocking democratic attempts to curb climate change and working to convince their base that it is a hoax.
2. Gun control and even defying the desire of their own base and most gun owners and members of the NRA. And they not only refuse to stem gun violence but they do everything they can to proliferate guns
in the country.
3. The horrific and existential threat to democracy
by trying to suppress votes through racially motivated gerrymandering and passing laws to stop voting by mail and decreasing the time to vote and water for voters who might be older people who are dehydrated.
4. Passing laws to give power to state level secretary of state to nullify presidential election results and giving republican stacked state legislatures to substitute a new slate of republican electors.
5. Covering up Jan 6 and Trump’s atttempt to take over the country through rigging or fixing the election by a multi step illegal conspiracy. The cover up has been pushed by almost the entire house and the vast majority of the senate. Not to mention that there were a significant republican legislators at federal and state levels involved in the conspiracy to overthrow the Federal Givernment.
6. The refusal of the senate to convict Trump after being impeached for things both times that were far worse then what Nixon did.
7. Refusing to sanction Marjorie Green and other clearly mentally ill and anti- democratic house members.
8. So many R legislators courting the votes of the white nationalists such as proud boys and 3%ers and KKK and neo nazis and the other groups.
9. The criminalization with bounty hunting of abortion rights.
10. Hypocritical pro-life action - i.e proliferation of any gun and opposing gun control and stripping away programs for poor people even parents of newborns.
The embryo is better protected then the baby’s that have been born.
11. The willing capitulation to Trump no matter his evil and their cowardice in refusing to put country first.
12. Republican politicians playing down the epidemic and getting humongous numbers killed.
13. Refusing medicaid expansion to the great detriment to citizens of the states involved.
14. The attempt to repeal Obamacare without even having a viable alternative.
15. Demonization of members of the LBGTQ community.
16. Southern republicans fighting to keep confederate statutes and school names and other confederate symbols.
17. Backing Trump’s decision to stop the Iran nuclear agreement. Now Iran is a few months away.
18. Looking the other way when Trump befriended Putin and other world autocrat leaders and murderers.
19. etc etc
