Wylie, have you considered that you call his posts dumb because (mainly) they contradict your p.o.v.???

Here are some sample questions us on the right might ask

for eg: Who is going to pay for the the new tax Biden's gov't is going to put on Oil profits?

How will this lower the price of gas at the pumps? Do you agree with this policy of his?

and then we wait for either a strange explanation, or else another trash comment on our dumbness..

I believe you can see this

Dougout has very often just posted facts.. and yet is called an idiot.

I often have said that US and Canada has been systematically brainwashed, over a period of 70 years or so.. i.e. since the T.V. box entered the home

Then I hear the names... but my Q is this: Do you not believe this is possible to accomplish?

so much potential for meaningful dialogue if we would only ditch our foolish pompous pride, and ego (This includes me, at times)

None of your questions prove anything? I never said Doug was an idiot (or you). I said he may be a genius. but no posts I've seen from him proves it (and admittedly, I have him blocked, so I don't see many of his posts)

You are right, everyone probably belittles beliefs that don't coincide with their own to some extent. I try not to belittle anyone's beliefs, although I will admit I don't always succeed. I don't think I have belittled your beliefs, and if I have, I apologize. I know I have commented when you apply your beliefs to me (For instance, in your view, I am going to Hell because I have not accepted Jesus Christ as my savior. Despite the fact that (IMO) I lead a decent life and try not to hurt others)

I did not say it exactly like that.. but instead, I will just post this

Jesus said, 'I am the say, the truth, and the life. No man comes unto the Father, but by me'

He also said,

'Whosoever believes in me, will never die'

We read

'For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son; that whosoever believes on him should not perish, but shall have everlasting life"

I hope you will remember that if a nuc bomb falls on the US of A.

Putin and China are wicked enough to do it. .. and there will be nothing else to hang on to, cuz the turmoil will be like nothing we have ever seen.. and fear will have most people paraylzed.. figuratively speaking

It is written that there is no condemnation to those who are in Jesus Christ (meaning they believe on him admit they are sinners, and believe that Jesus is the Son of God, and trust that he gave his life as an atonement for their sin..)

and in John 3 verse 18 it is written " But whosoever believeth not is condemned already; because he has rejected the Lord Jesus Christ" hate me for posting that, but I am just the messenger. Go read it for yourself..

If that is offensive to you, then it is maybe because you think you know better than God, about judging humanity, and about what is fair and just

To believe on him, you would have to bow to his authority.. and admit you have been wrong. Are you able to do that?

Being a 'good person' is a noble endeavor, but on this planet, all have fallen shot of the Glory of God.

I could go saying I am a 'good person' but I would be lying.. although I live on the right side of the law.. I am flawed, and my own righteousness is like used toilet paper, in God's eyes. Ironically, one cannot be saved until he realizes this.. so that debunks the notion that Christians think they are better than the rest. We know we aren't. Abraham was deemed righteous because he believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.

Similarly, we are redeemed because we believe on Jesus Christ.. but all our good works cannot buy is favor with God; We can NOT save ourselves. Neither can you

Fear mongering is not my thing, but hell is not just an imagined thing. and there is only one way to escape it..

It is your choice, and I hope you put the narratives aside and just think on this..

Also, Heaven is real too, and is for all eternity.

I know I am wasting my time asking this, but any evidence that Heaven or Hell actually exist, or you just think they exist because your faith tells you that they do? Nothing wrong with that. Faith is a good thing, depending upon what you have faith in.
