8 days until the Supreme Court Oral Arguments on the Mississippi abortion law.

Arbury verdict likely this week.

Interesting story - NASA launched a small spaceship to travel about 6 million miles to strike an asteroid. This is an experiment to see if they can knock it off its course.
The asteroid poses no danger to Earth. This is like the Bruce Willis movie.

On the Christmas album list the Aimee Mann album is a gem. Two originals and lots of overlooked songs like the dark Christmas classic by Jimmy Webb that opens the album.

This is a very special album.

Thanks for the thanks. The Aimee Mann stuff is BRILLIANT. If you haven't heard Richard Cheese's "Cocktails With Santa" you're missing out.

I will find that. What did you hear on the Aimee Mann album? Did you hear it on Spotify. The Jimmy Webb track leads off and it blew me away.
For some who don’t know Jimmy Webb wrote McCarthur Park.

Thank God for the Arbury verdicts
and only 10 hours to decide on 3 defendants.

They picked a foreman - 1 hour
They they went over the charges - 2 hours
They discussed what to get for lunch - 1 hour
They had lunch - 1.5 hours
They deliberated - 2.5 hours
They went home.

Today

They had coffee and donuts - 1 hour
They voted - 1 hour


The American Dream still has a heartbeat.

It was a very funny holiday album. Uniformly good but 3 great standouts.
Las Vegas Christmas and Las Vegas Hannukah
and a bit with a Santa Claus that I think was played by
Lewis Black.

Las Vegas Chanukah is outrageous. The greatest Chanukah song of all time.

it doesn’t get any better. Sooo funny.
