Amerk, you want to make Smokey's pick for him, or get a replacement in? Like you said, this is the worst 1st rd I've ever seen. Life happens, not everyone can pick in a timely manner, some people seem averse to sending proxies... But this many? For me, and probably some others, it kills interest in a draft when it looks like it'll take over a month to complete.

Would it speed things up if I took the other team? Unless there's an issue with me having back to back team picks

I'm sorry I didn't get back to you sooner, but I didn't have time to check the draft til now. Could you go to the draft thread in the basketball "theme leagues" forum and make a pick for smokey63? He has beene 10:37 am today and hasn't picked.

smokey is the founder of the league, so he will most likely take his team back from you once he pulls his head out of his ***, but if he is in ill health, he may not. Either way, make the pick as if it's your team.
