Earlier this year, I had Justin Turner hit 3HR, 10RBI, all in the same inning.

As balanced as it can get:

On my Mile High team I have 4 SetUp A’s, as of the 1/12 pm game, they have 23, 22.2, 22.1, and 22 innings pitched. My 3 SetUp B’s have 21.1, 21.1, and 14 IP.

My Long Relief A? 22 IP lol

Last game of the regular season, I've clinched the wild card so I run out 1978 Eric Rasmussen, who I'd used in Long B/Mop Up duty all season, with no pitch limit and everyone else on rest. Rasmussen entered the game with 9.48 ERA, and was 0 for 12 at the plate on the season.

So what happens? Rasmussen throws a three hit shutout and hits a three run homer in a 5-0 victory.

1972 Steve Carlton Redux

Just wrapped up a 1954 prog season. Mine was the worst overall team in the league: 51-111. We finished 49 games out of first place.

But we had one superstar, Warren Spahn. He won the Cy Young award while leading the league in wins. His record was 26-12.

Which means the rest of the staff went 25-99!

Was on the winning end of a 40-3 rout in which 1921 Tris Speaker went 7-9.

All 7 hits were doubles!

Lost the finals of an 80 mil. TOC in 4 games to boogerlips. He was 17-0 in the tourmament!

I had three teams entered into TOC MLBT2110. All three of my teams were beaten by the same team (Visions of Johanna by owner stfrancis). In the opening round he swept my team with a combined score of 19-5, he beat my next team in the regionals 3 games to 2 with a combined score of 27-18, then beat my last team in the finals with a combined score of 55-14.

In a just completed season my starting catcher the A+ (43%) '93 Rick Wilkins must have hurt his arm as he only managed to throw out 6 of 34 base stealers for a 17.6% rate.
Fielding - Regular Season
Pos GP GS Inn E Throw E PO A DP Good Plays Poor Plays F. Pct SB CS C. ERA PB PK
C 136 131 1,169.7 9 6 897 17 6 0 0 .990 28 6 3.05 1 1

He must have got healthy for the playoffs though cause he threw out 8 on 15 attempts

Fielding - Playoffs
Pos GP GS Inn E Throw E PO A DP Good Plays Poor Plays F. Pct SB CS C. ERA PB PK
C 17 17 159.0 0 0 112 9 0 0 0 1.000 7 8 2.32 0 0

He threw out more base stealers in the 17 playoff games than he did in the 131 regular season games he started

Continuing with the "1972 Steve Carlton Redux" motif...It was a pretty sorry season for the 1967 St. Louis Perfectos, as we finished 69-93 and in last place in the NL West. The one shining light was our star rookie pitcher, who won the NL Rookie of the Year and Cy Young Award, posting a sterling 29-5 mark, while racking up 205 strikeouts. For those scoring at home, that means the rest of the team was 40-88.

The name of this incredible 1967 freshman pitcher who saved us from complete oblivion? Nope, not Tom Seaver. 'Twas the immortal Bill Singer.

The Brooklyn Thunderbears rookie pitcher Dick Hughes feels snubbed on both awards.

Just had a team of mine in a theme league score 11 runs in the bottom of the 9th to win 13-12. That's a terrible way for any team to lose, but imagine blowing a 10 run lead when you're currently on a 37 game losing streak -- that's what happened here!

Same team as in the above post, back at it with the comeback wins. The first one went 11 innings:

The very next game went a bit longer than 11:

The pitcher who got the win in this one, 225K mop 2012 Casey Kelly, pitched 5.2 innings at 91%, allowing just the 3 runs in the top of the 20th, and was forced to bat for himself three times, including in the bottom of the 20th. He never got on base, but he lowered his ERA to 10.99 and improved his W-L record to 3-0.

In a league where we were trying to win my team had a record of 6-156.

In a league where we were trying to lose my team won 111 games!
