just saw Bad Times at El Royale

great thriller that could have been a Tarantino classic.
some say too long a movie....not me.
amazing ensemble cast of Jeff Bridges and Dakota Fanning and Liem Hennsworth and John Hamm and others but esp Cynthia Ervita. She plays a singer and sings throughout. She is a talented singer and amazing actress.... she reminds me of Gandolfini in her inexhaustible facial expressions that convey volumes without words.

this is a noir thriller taking place circa 1968 - 1970 with
great music and records throughout.

If Mick Jagger wasn’t the singer for The Rolling Stones who would you rank 1-4 from the following imaginary replacements.

Hey dino, I saw Bad Times at the El Royale about two weeks ago. Great flick, and you're right about the singer. Liked just about everything in it expect the guy with the Marvel superhero abs playing a Charlie Manson type.

Another film I recently caught that I had never of before was Mindhorn. Really enjoyable British comedy in the vein of Anchorman/Hot Fuzz/Tropic Thunder.

And no replacement for Mick! Although if I had to pick one I'd pick Bowie. He does a pretty good imitation.
