Q: 110M theme:

It's not specifically mentioned, but since we roster 25 players, I assume we can have more than one teammate per player selected (at least one player HAS to have more than one teammate).
Oh, yes, you can have as many players from a single team as you'd like as long as you have the same number of players from that team on your Round 2 team.
It's not specifically stated, but can I assume no player's same season can be used in both rounds? I can't use '27 Ruth and Gehrig and then use them as each others' teammates in Round 2, right? But I could use one season of each in Round 1 and then use their teammate seasons in Round 2?
Correct — you can't use the same player twice
I just want to make sure I fully understand this answer - does "you can't use the same player twice" mean year-specific player?

Is it legal to use

a) 1927 Ruth on the first team and 1927 Wilcy Moore on the second team and
b) 1930 Gehrig on the first team and 1930 Ruth on the second?

I mis-read the original rule (thought this teammate rules was just for round 1). My question really doesn't make sense. It's unlikely many people will want to roster 4 players from the same real life team (two in round 1, two in round 2).

For the $120M theme, are the numbers X/100AB# or just X/100AB?

$70M and Variable cap. Are there any restrictions on bench stacking? Drafting bad players I don't need to change my team totals.

Variable cap. Still not clear if the number is rounded or truncated. For $160M I can have HR/9 up to 0.099999? or up to 0.0950 because anything higher would round up to 0.10 ?

I assume since ozomatli is going to round to 2 decimal places, 0.095 or higher will round up to 0.10 and anything less than 0.095 (ex. 0.0945) will round down to 0.09.

I think it would be pretty hard to bench stack for AVG=OAV because of the $70M cap. Trying to roster excess PA with low avg to bring down the aggregate avg for example results in trouble pretty quickly between the wasted salary on the excess PA and a likely increase in money that needs to be spent on pitching to attain that lower OAV. I suppose one could try to stuff their roster with $200k mopup scrubs, but then there are only so many pitching roster slots and you kind of need them at $70M...

Bench stacking (as a major strategy) in the Variable cap is only effective if it is possible to raise your team pitching staff's HR/9 by 0.10 or more for <$2 million.

110M Theme Question: It looks like we need to build both 1st round and 2nd round rosters now. Any chance there is a salary update before the 2nd round?

Also, does the ballpark have to be the same in both rounds?

for the variable cap, I assume you calculate the HR/9 based on the 162 game projections, not actual HR allowed over actual innings pitched?
Correct
Which one does it show in the draft center? I'm not sure how to go about this.

$120M: Hit Type Challenge
300K Exception: Yes

So < 300K guys don’t have to adhere to whatever hit standard you choose?
Correct
And for the $90M, players under 300K can be from any season?
Oh whoops, that was a typo. There is no 300K exception in the 90M theme

Just the raw stats

I believe it will show the relevant one in the draft center

Good question. I will follow up with adlorenz about the salary update.

I would definitely recommend building both teams simultaneously, regardless.

And no, you don't need to use the same stadium in both rounds.

This is correct. I don't think this will be an issue in either.
