The level of "involvement" any Gov't SHOULD have in determining that folks NEED "brought up" is very much in contest as I see it.

This Country provided a "framework" for the individual, through enterprise, work, saving, planning, etc to RISE UP in wealth, status, worth, citizenry.
It has NEVER, as I am aware, "brought people up" with Governmental policy, though it has enacted policies designed to "prop up" the economic "lessers", particularly in the area of retirement and old age benefits.

IMO, there are numerous examples of Gov't "holding people down" however.
Mostly, colored folks. Red men, etc. Some poor whites here and there for balance.

I say "Black lives matter" because "all" didn't cover black when they said "all men are created equal."
I say "Black lives matter" because "all" didn't cover black when they said "With liberty and justice for all."
I say "Black lives matter" because they are still struggling with the definition of "all."

So, you think its crazy talk to say that black men (and women) are not considered equal by many n this country? You love in the Boston area and can still say that? I've lived in the Boston area and found it to be one of the most racist areas I've lived in. I admit it was a long time ago, so maybe things have changed. I lived in the Stoughton, Brockton area.

What does screaming at them fix? That just makes you feel better. It confirms the beliefs of whoever you're screaming at.

Anger isn't a solution. For someone as old as you claim to be, I'd think this would have become self-evident by this point.
