Honestly I'd rather play the season than give him a credit.

The draft is the most fun part anyway.

I agree with dBKC on both counts.

I mean he has no reason to do it without a prize since he’d be foregoing the one he’d 99.999% win from WIS

i have to state my own opinion i am not comfortable wit “23” owners and a team just thrown in to round out the league. i will be honest and say i am considering withdrawing as this is not the league i signed up for.

We can get a 24th. Bigdiggity69 can still play. I haven't heard back from him yet.

I did give everyone two days. I stated when the deadline was going to be, and I sent out reminders early this morning. There's no excuse for not sending in your Round 1 ballot in that amount of time. I even waited an extra half hour.

I'd ask you to hold off while we wait for a 24th. Until I hear otherwise, we're still full.

Guys, I think we are taking this too far. The fun of this league is the draft and the idea that 1 person got an amazing team just makes the format that more fun - it could've happened to any of us. We didn't have the right combo of luck, and honestly, we didn't put some studs on our team to block him. His good fortunute is directly related to our mistakes - so we should have to play it out.

Now, only 23 owners maybe skewed the league slightly to allow for more superstars, but no one knew that when we submitted it so no one had a natural advantage. And also, the lack of 12 players being submitted gave us all an equal chance to landing more guys as well.

This league is awesome and the draft is fun - let's play it out and see if a team can really go 82-0 on all of us like we're all thinking.

This would be the 5th league ronsouth signed up for, waited until it was too late to drop, and then dropped. Just FYI.

I am 100% opposed to any modifications to round 1 after the fact. Too many variables and not fair to anyone that loses a player after having them.

It would make more sense to make Sephy the champ and start season 9.

Also, to be fair, having only 23 people submit skews things a little - that's 12 less guys submitted, no clue if any of the big fish would've been on that or not. You could easily see a Jordan-LeBron-Curry-Wilt with 8 role players team out there.

That is so true cea......I didn't even think about that. I guess I didn't realize a 24th draft sheet was never submitted. Actually, that really does skew everything tremendously. Even if he just had 2 fewer players, still a great team but maybe not unbeatable. Is there any other possible outcome, besides keep rolling or scrap the season all together? I mean maybe FTGOTO there could just be some agreed upon restrictions on his team. This way everyone can keep their current picks and the season is still played. Feel free to call me an idiot (I've been called worse) but here's a few ideas
1. He has to give back either Lebron or Steph.
2. He can't pick anymore players and is assigned 6 scrubs at the end of the draft.
3. He can't pick anymore players, but gets to choose another undrafted 6
4. He can keep all 6 but must use the lowest minute season for 2 or 3.
5. He must spot us 20 points at the beginning of the game. Opponent starts out ahead 20-0. (just kidding)

Anyone else have any better ideas? I'm just saying, maybe we can come to a happy medium between the 2 extremes of keeping it as is or scrapping it.

23 owners submitting lists instead of 24 is a modification to round 1. Adding a 24th owner who hasn’t seen any of the lists isn’t a modification, it’s the original idea

I don’t have a dog in this fight. I’m playing with my drafted guys if we go through with this. I just think adding a 24th list solves a big problem.

Yes, we need someone to submit a round 1 roster without knowledge of who's already been drafted. If necessary, I'd be willing to take over the team for round 2 and beyond.

Also, I think y'all are sleeping on cea's team. While sephy's luck is indeed jaw-dropping, a core of Shaq, Kemp, Billups, and James Johnson is nothing to sneeze at.

I’ll play no matter what.

I do think running 23 lists and having one team have as much talent as the other 22 combined causes some issues and if anyone has a solution, I’m interested.

But even if I have to try to compete against The Super Friends even though I got 0 players in round one, I will.
