What if we crown Sephy champ and let him pick any 12 players available right now as round 1.5 and then those are his and we proceed with round 2 afterwards?

We got too smart for our own good. LeBron and Steph got picked five and four times respectively in Season 7's Round 1. In my records, neither has ever been picked less than 3 times in Round 1.

Statistically, the odds of this happening have to be pretty low. I'm sure someone in this league could tell me exactly how low.

There are other really good teams started and who knows maybe sephy chooses the worst possible seasons lol.
Sephy deserves to crush us twice daily. Going to have fun with the rest of the draft...if there is one.

Personally I think it’s a little unfair to quit cause some people still got good players too - if we forfeit and I don’t line next season’s shakeup, will we accommodate that?

I absolutely agree with this and I don't want anyone to think otherwise.

With that said, it's not my decision. It's your league, it's your money. We'll figure it out.

Also, to be fair, having only 23 people submit skews things a little - that's 12 less guys submitted, no clue if any of the big fish would've been on that or not. You could easily see a Jordan-LeBron-Curry-Wilt with 8 role players team out there.

Someone (probably me) fills in a team of undrafted players at the very end.

We are still playing for the time being, so we are looking for a 24th

What if we get a 24th owner and tell him to submit any 12 players. We don’t tell them that the list of players is available. We proceed like they submitted their list on time. If they choose players on sephy’s team (or mine, or anyone else’s) this players are crossed off.

Before I vote: does declaring Sephy the winner come with any type of prize like he would have got from WIS? I mean I can chip in on it, but honestly the only way I’d vote for it is if
1-he gets a prize
2-he agrees

Yes, but the list of players is available. There's no way to verify that the person didn't look.

The rest of us still have to submit Round 2.
