I think my favorite today was that CNN is biased or something for reporting the number of deaths.

I think we know why Doug doesn’t want to talk about it and deleted his first page posts, of course. It just underscores Trump messed this up from the get go. He even bought a little time with the China ban (even though that wasn’t really as good as he thought or as encompassing as he pretends). But then he did nothing for a month and longer. And now it’s killed more people in about a month and a half than h1n1 killed in a year. Because Trump was thinking short term about the stock market and his own re-election rather than realizing if he handled this properly, did his job by handling the real issue, the public health issue that needs to be handled before anything else, and had mass testing starting in January when WHO offered tests, then the market would stabilize, the economy would come back, and he would be a hero. But Trump doesn’t think long term or about anything larger than himself.

Doug always makes me laugh. We actually agree on about 60% but that remaining 40% he finds intolerable. For him, it's an all-or-nothing proposition.
