That's the beauty of drafting with a relatively low salary cap. If you take the best players available early, and use their best seasons, you're probably going to need to have some trash on your bench.

On the other hand, if you draft too conservatively early on, you probably won't have the star power to be able to compete at a high level.

I was able to snag some good pieces in Round 6 this time around but I've had a number of seasons where I couldn't afford to draft anybody I actually wanted by that point.

I missed you taking Jon Barry at 77. I love his 60% eFG season but I have never seen him go that high.

Definitely high for Barry but of all the guys I had on my tentative roster at that point he was the one I thought made the most sense to pick. And he was a good fit for what I need out of a PG - clean efficiency, threes, decent rebounds, and not too many assists.

Lots of 128-126 games in my future; this team is trash defensively. Three 90+ defenders (Pippen, Kemp, Anderson) and only one other player over 62 D (undrafted guy with a few hundred minutes). The 16 mpg I have a Nurkic/Towns frontcourt we're gonna leak points.

Was originally planning on using the cheaper 17-18 Nurkic, but shifted some things around to use 18-19 instead, Pretty impressive stats for that season that I never really considered before. 24 mpg, 54 D, 24.7% usg, 51% efg, 77% FT, 12.4/25.3 reb %, 13.5% ast. The fouls and turnovers are a problem for him and my team as a whole. but really a pretty great season.

I mean if you use XXX's salient stats as parameters you're only going to a handful of guys

and the other guy isn't that pricey
