You have posted articles in the past saying that you can't indict a sitting President. So your argument is that because you can't convict a sitting President, and because the only way someone can be guilty is a conviction, it is impossible for a President to commit a crime.

you guys are always turning facts into opinions and positions.
here it is again....in a nut shell.
on the federal side the DOJ has a policy ( not a law ) that a sitting president cannot be indicted for a federal crime..this has never been tested in court.
there is nothing to prevent an atty general from disregarding the guideline and then the constitutionality could be tested.
on the state side the doj guideline does not apply......and already decided that a sitting pres. can be sued in civil court.....
the opinion issue would occur if the pres commits an extreme fed crime like extortion or murdering a federal official and the atty gen respects the guideline........common sense would dictate that the impeachment process would not have take place prior to arrest and indictment.
