#2) Corrupt along wealth lines...case in point is Jussie Smollett.

THIS is the truth and a fact, but our "friends" here will continue to ignore it because they'd rather scream "RACISM" at everything even remotely possible and make the problem even worse.
I just ignore bad luck, tang and dino. I tease tang more or less but would never engage in a serious conversation with him. Or any of them tbh. They are an embarrassment.
they are no worse than you. They don't like to hear opinions that differ from theirs, and neither do you.
They are illogical. I value your opinions because you base yours on logic. I disagree with most of them but I value them.
Was my opinion on felons not logical? I'm not screaming emotions at you all the time. In fact, it is you who typically jumps to ad hominem and anger.

Let felons vote - they have served their sentence, they are still US citizens who can serve in the military, restoring voting rights could reduce the likelihood of going back to prison, and the justice system is corrupt along racial lines anyway.
#1) Not what Sanders said. He said let people currently in jail, serving time vote.

#2) Corrupt along wealth lines...case in point is Jussie Smollett.

#1) And I said that I disagreed with him. Above was my opinion...

#2) Ok... that still proves my point.
my eyes glaze over...does anybody state a position clearly anymore ?
is it a new crime ?

So you want people who broke the law to vote on the law? Illogical.
We already let people do that. People can go to prison, get out, and still vote. We all disagree with Sanders proposal. You have seen what I support. Debate me, not Bernie. And by the way, I can like a candidate without agreeing with them on literally every single issue. You can like Trump, who is pro life, while still being pro choice.

I never really thought about prisoners voting or not voting.
I'm just curious, IF they were allowed to vote, would it be in their previously registered District, or where the prison is located?
If you commit a crime and lose your right to freedom, why shouldn't you also lose your right to vote?
I'm with you on this. Voting rights, IMO, is part of the sentence. Once that sentence is done, voting rights should be restored.

cccpee - im interested in hearing your opinion as to why there is a significant increase in anti - Semitic crime and murders by american white nationalist
groups.
Thats easy because in this country antisemitism is considered OK by the Prog. Left and of course the Alt Right. They don't see anything wrong with it at all. The alt right has always hated Jews. The prog left hates Israel and anyone who supports Israel. In this link, if the cartoons were about African Americans, Asians or Muslims, the NYT would be vilified. But not against Jews. Then we have fake Jews like wylie who continue to vote Blue and empower these persons.

So making fun of a corrupt politician is antisemitic now? Is making fun of Obama racist because he happens to be black?

You’re rooting for a guy who broke the law to be re-elected President.
And possibly committed tax fraud, which, ironically enough, is a felony.

trump is now going out on his borscht belt tour and tells a frothing at the mouth crowd that late term abortion is when a baby is born healthy and is all wrapped up in a nice warm blanket and then the dr and the mother decide on whether or not to execute the baby.
many ofhis supporters are very dumb and believe it....i guess some of them will get further radicalized and kill some more drs.

You have posted articles in the past saying that you can't indict a sitting President. So your argument is that because you can't convict a sitting President, and because the only way someone can be guilty is a conviction, it is impossible for a President to commit a crime.

there is no law against indicting a sitting president.
there is a doj guideline to not do so.
obviously if a president in plain sight murdered a federal official the guideline would not be followed...for example.
doj policy has no effect on state ag in any state.

nope there is no law against indicting a sitting president

there is also no law against congress creating their own police force

i am pretty sure we do not want congress and the president sending their police forces out to arrest and interrogate each other

so its better if we leave the sitting president to congress and the criminal policing to the executive

the house can make their charges and the senate can have its political trial

the president can have his criminal trial the day he leaves office
4/29/2019 11:23 PM (edited)
i mean imagine if they found bodies in the basement of trump tower

the house could call him murderer the senate could say guilty he could be out on his *** by next week and the people would buy it

its really all about the will of the people and does our president represent us

right now we're split so lets not have a civil actual war lets have a civil proxy war called an election

im thinkin o registering republican just so i can vote him out twice

Right so bad luck’s post didn’t make sense. Plus Trump has not been impeached as far as I can tell. Do you have a link stating otherwise? It was a false equivalency. Do you think the Boston Marathon bomber should have the same voting rights as wylie? Bad luck and dino do.
