Well, I guess you won't be in any of my other leagues then either. It's all I do. I don't like running a ten round draft that will take nearly three weeks. And my 21 round baseball draft...phew, it would take over a MONTH with one hour windows. I've been in the ODL and DH52 drafts for at least six years, and I MUCH prefer doing it this way. Maybe that's just me. If I'm picking 1st or 2nd or 23rd or 24th, I HATE having to wait close to a week before I am up again. But I guess that must not bother you.

I mean think about it....do you honestly think more guys would make their time slots if it were ONE hour windows? HELLZ NO! You'd have the same issues. Everyone knows what time they are supposed to pick. It's not a shock to anyone. All pick times are clearly marked on page one of this thread. It would be the same exact thing with one hour windows AND the draft would take twice as long! Half hour windows only really makes it harder for ME--the guy running things and trying to keep it all together, and I don't mind one bit. AMD I'M LEGALLY BLIND!!!

Whatever sappy...I'd hate to lose you, but I'm not changing anything.

No criticism but just curious as to why? There is no perfect way to do this and as best I can tell this draft is going smoothly.

Leagues offer different formats and draft time frames. that is a good thing. Others may help out, but the Commissioner has the sole responsibility to run the league. The mandates of the league have to lie within what is doable for the Commissioner both in terms of concentration of work within the day and overall length of the draft. Owners join leagues depending on whether the parameters of the league meet their likes, work responsibilities and lifestyles. If the league is not a fit, it's just not a fit. No one wants to see a responsible owner leave a league, but the fit may just not be right and it should be left at that. Hope you stay, Sappy, but if not, it's understood.

Just to be clear I truly apperciate anybody that runs these leagues. I have not run any myself and dont wish too. I just wanted to voice my opinion on how I felt about the shorter intervals. I prefer 1 hour. That is just what I prefer. I apologize if I came off to harsh in saying they were BS. I should have stated that differently. Anyway thanks to you Amerk for taking time to run this
