I have know idea how my team will do, this will only be my third basketball league of any kind, but I was pretty happy getting Jamal Mashburn, Dave DeBusschere and Geoff Petrie in round three. Was bummed I didn't get Boogie or Reggie Lewis, but was actually surprised either of them survived two rounds in the first place.

Paul Pierce is a great get for a league like this. I worry a bit about how many low eFG guys you have like Mikan and Bing, especially since they have high usage. I would maybe try a way to get as many of your efficient scorers out together as possible as your big minute guys, or find lower usage seasons from your inefficient guys.

Pierce is great and some of the depth is nice too. Good luck!

Thanks! Basically higher usage guys take more shots. You want the guys who take the majority of your shots to be efficient. Guys like Mikan who take a lot of shots AND shoot them inefficiently hurt quite a bit. Inefficient guys who have low usage can be okay if they help in other areas. There’s a pretty good thread in the main SIM basketball forum about it.

basically if Mikan is taking a third of your shots at 40%, and Jimmy Butler is taking a third of my shots at 52%, I’m going to be scoring on a lot more of my possessions.

I would maybe consider starting Jason Williams bc his passing could improve everyone else’s shooting %s. Just a thought.

Brandon was taken twice in the 2nd round by bds9992 and coachcroft. I have fixed it on the league page.
