Actually we really need to take a look at this. If an owner won't even take the time to check the first page of the thread, along with the updated picks as I try to do my best each season to keep updated so that dh555 doesn't get stuck with all of the work, then IMO there should be a 2 hour repick rule before being skipped. How hard is it to double check the picks on 2 posts and then make your choice?

On a weekend night this is especially tough. I have a lot of things to do tomorrow and it sure would have been nice to have gotten through round 2 at least by the end of the night.

In the ODL, the rule is that a posted pick is final, and it cannot be changed. If we were to take it quite literally for this league, ysw's pick is final, even though it is invalid.

In any draft, once a pick is made, the next pick can be made. There is no rule that says extra time is afforded for someone who made an invalid pick.

I would argue that the rules do not specify that we have to wait for a valid pick.

Horace is fine player but I just see him as a 3rd rounder after you have taken your top 2 players. Not taking a 4 usage point or higher usage player with one of your first 2 picks in this league is problematic IMO in terms of drafting a championship contender.

I have maglor's proxy. Let me know when I should post it.

If dh555 goes along with this thought moving forward, and the majority of owners are on board with it, then an invalid pick should be skipped and the draft should move forward. The owner can come back whenever they figure it out and then repick.

Let's get a ruling from dh555 about moving forward with posting maglor1's proxy.
