Trumps approval rating on par to BHOs and WJCs after their first two years and he lost a lot fewer seats in Congress than they did after their first midterms and both got re-elected....interesting right?
Interesting that you're leaving a whole lot of context out of Obama's low approval rating.

The economy is basically as strong as it can be. It's not like unemployment can ever get to actual zero and Trump's approval is still in the shitter.
Even though I'm not a fan of Trump, the Democrats will have a tough time beating him in 2020 if the economy stays as it is now. Who do you think should run against him?
I'd run a war vet and a moderate. Which neither Biden nor O'Rourke are.
What tf are you talking about? Biden is a moderate.
Biden said Romney would put black people back in chains. That is your definition of Moderate??!?!?! Are you kidding me.
One comment like that doesn't preclude him from being moderate. But he wouldn't be a great choice.

There will be a handful of Senators going for it---Harris, Booker, Brown, Gillibrand, Klobuchar. I like Klobuchar abut she's probably too moderate to really have a chance. Harris would slay in debates but might have issues in the mid-west because, well...racism.

Governor Inslee is probably a good dark horse right now.
LOL - OK....back to racism for Leftist bad luck. Nothing to do with the fact that Harris is utterly detestable. If the Dems run Panetta and Sinema they'd have a great shot IMO. If they run your people they will lose IMO. Although the debates between Trump and Spartacus would be entertaining.
What do you find detestable about Kamala Harris? She may be a bit far left but nothing she does seems detestable to me

I will, thank you.

And I think I won, because Laura Kelly won in Kansas.

Oh, and another Dem also won in Kansas. In the house. Good day for me.
Well I think that's wonderful for you. Evidently the people in your area and state got what they voted for.

What works in New York City may not work in my Mennonite community.

In my state a lower court judge rewrote the district lines. We did not vote on it. There was not enough time to change it before the election. It will now go to a higher court. THAT ruling from a lower court judge not up for re-election gave 3 seats to the democrats. They wanted 4 but even their cheating failed because they got voted out in my Mennonite district. It was an unlawful action and law written from the bench without representation. AND that would have resulted in 3 less seats than you got in your pathetic attempt to regain the House. And that's only my state. The Dems did it in other states too. You have to cheat to win.

We're not going anywhere. You're either going to have to play Trumps game and pass law or go down hard in 2020. America figured you out. I don't know that you caught on yet.

Later.

Many millennials have already had kids

And **** you for putting "poor" in quotes.
Kids who have high expenses like college and you agree that many game the system or remain poor because it benefits the Democrats. If they gain wealth they move to the suburbs and may vote GOP. You’re still young and idealistic and I was too. As Winston the Great Churchill said “If you don’t vote Democrat in your 20s you have no heart and if you don’t vote Republican in your 40s you have no brain.
Dems killed it in the suburbs last night. You nailed it with the age groups. The GOP is a dying party and this is the last gasps of the WASPS hanging on.

You said Republicans were going to keep the House and Senate.
Well OK. Enjoy. But please notice.....

We expanded the Senate and lost under 30 seats in the House. THAT'S a victory in a mid-term.

WE might have tied the best ever 27 achieved by Reagan. Last time OBAMA was in YOU lost 63.

Enjoy your loss.
:) BACKPEDAL

Yes, who would possibly think to suppress voters and draw up rigged, partisan lines?

I wonder...

I found her attitude during the Trump cabinet hearings and the Kavanaugh hearings detestable. Her expressions of disgust just because the people are from an opposing party rubbed me the wrong way. To me she exudes hatred and divisiveness.
