I definitely think Whitlock is an idiot. I don’t remember calling Shapiro an idiot. I think very little of him as a person and I think people that buy his bullshit are idiots, but didn’t the guy go to Harvard law? He’s not dumb.

Yes, I admit to being very cynical when it comes to politicians, whatever their party. In order to get anywhere in politics, you need to be a liar. As I have said many times, show me an honest politician and I'll show you an unsuccessful politician. They will all do or say whatever they feel they need to do or say to get elected. That being said, I have voted in every election since I was old enough to vote.

Don't know enough about him to know that, but do you really thought he could get free education passed? Unless he's an idiot, I don't think he thought that would ever come to fruition, but it sounds good to a certain segment of the population. Pretty sure Sanders knew it would never happen.

I agree with all of the above except the golf part. For one, golf is freakin awesome! For another, he doesn't play anymore than past presidents. The mistake he made was criticizing Obama for playing and then playing himself.

He clearly didn't try on the first day. That's a simple fact. Then he came back with a just awful plan that almost everyone on both isles hated, and he himself didn't truly support. It was ObamaCare but so much worse.

Face it. This was a pretty damn big policy promise that he didn't deliver on.

To me those were the primary issues to many voters and he has kept his promises and is only 50% done with his first term. I think you are blinded by pure hatred for the man and anyone who voted for him. The sooner you admit that the better.

I listed the primary reasons he won IMO and those he has adhered to. My top 2 were Israel and Military for any candidate.

For most others it was economy, SC, jobs and immigration.

The rest is sundry stuff.

You don't think education, healthcare, civil rights, internal issues like gun violence, foreign policy, environmental affairs, trade, justice system, or anything else is important? OK. Thanks for sharing.

I happen to fundamentally disagree with each and every one of your ideas of what is important. I want to cut the military budget, Israel is just like our other allies to me, I don't think the President can affect the economy in a meaningful way, and I don't think immigration is a super pressing issue.

Maybe the only one I care about is SC but that is based on party lines anyway.
