Whether ObamaCare is a failure or not depends largely on the viewpoint of the party making the judgment.
Someone like me, who is alive directly BECAUSE of ObamaCare is gonna have a favorable viewpoint.
Others who for the 1st time had access to BUYING health insurance also are likely to view it as favorable.
MANY small business owners will view it as unfavorable.

SOME of the ACA (the LAW authorizing program) is extremely good and needed. Some of it is unworkable longterm and will eventually fail WITHOUT amendment/adjustment.
It COULD have been better I think but doing so would have endangered it's pass-ability.
You know...... the opposition of the Repugs who were committed to oppose ANYTHING on Obama's agenda......pledged it to their base........on TV, publicly

Eventually, the ACA will be "fixed" and the Repugs will end up owning the result!..........unless they get wiped out by a blue wave in 2018.......... then it will be the Dems problem. They'll likely fix it.......... by ******* it up completely!
Just my 2 cents. I get to give it thanks to Obama's ACA!

That's a great thing for you, as I'm sure it is for many others. However, as the numbers show, it is a bad thing for just as many, if not more, and can in no possible way objectively be graded as being a "B" for this Country.

Looking forward to hearing from all the Trump-haters who bashed him for firing Comey, now that the truth has come-out about his insubordination.
Facts sure have a way of killing many of the rants posted on this site.

Mine (in a loose order) are:
1. Education
2. Healthcare
3. North Korea
4. Environment
5. Budget
6. Treatment of social issues in the USA like race and class.
7. All other foreign policy.
8. Following of constitution.
9. Economy/Trade deals
10. Good leader/good representation of the USA on a global scale.

To me Trump fails on all of this except for #3 (maybe) and #9.
What did you score Obama as on those 10?
Failed on #1, 3, and 5.
And 2 and 10 and 4 and 9....Not easy being POTUS.

2: Passed ObamaCare, which is SOMETHING and helps my family have decent healthcare, without it we would have struggled. Could have been better but not failing.
4: Again, could have done more, I wish he did more, but he faced strong resistance in Congress and at least he attempted to address the problems and made it a big issue in America.... unfortunately politicized it as well but that wasn't his fault. This would be a B. Trump would get an F.
9: As far as I could tell the economy was doing pretty well, especially compared to someone like Bush, who would be failing. A failing grade is basically a depression or something actually awful in my book.
10: This was one of Obama's best things in my book. He was pretty universally respected around the world, and he was a pretty good leader and a charismatic guy. From what I have gathered, he is a top-class person, even when the cameras are off. Compared to Trump, who is almost universally hated, NOT charismatic and an iffy at best moral compass, and Obama looks pretty good.

If I were to grade Obama/Trump:
1. Education D/D-
2. Healthcare B/F
3. North Korea D/B+
4. Environment B/F
5. Budget D-/D-
6. Treatment of social issues in the USA like race and class. C/F
7. All other foreign policy. C+/D
8. Following of constitution. A/C
9. Economy/Trade deals C/A
10. Good leader/good representation of the USA on a global scale. A+/F
What do you mean by following the constitution?
Like a fundamental understanding and playing by the rules of the constitution.
Give me a concrete example. Like following the law and stating that sanctuary cities are breaking the law?

Obamacare is a giant disaster except for insurance companies, who had the largest profits in their history.

I would not care if he nationalized healthcare but Obamacare was stupid and a POTUS with any business acumen would have realized this.

Obamacare is "not failing" and gets a B?!
Who knew hallucinogens were so prevalent in central Kansas?
(for a reality check access this: https://www.kff.org/interactive/kaiser-health-tracking-poll-the-publics-views-on-the-aca/#?response=Favorable--Unfavorable&aRange=twoYear)
ObamaCare sure as hell isn't failing! Bob hit it right on the nose. My family as well is only on Healthcare because of the ACA. And if it was so bad why do Republicans seem not to be able to come up with a better alternative?

BTW thanks for proving my point with your 'reality check'. First off popularity isn't super relevant, secondly there is a huge partisan split, with 79% of Dems supporting it and 79% of Repugs against it. However a plurality of independents support ObamaCare. This seems to support the idea that Obamacare is relatively popular. Again, not perfect, but I think a B grade is pretty fair until we see an alternative.
TP is too funny. I educated him on why it was stupid and how Nationalized was better. He actually agreed but now is going back to this. I now don't believe that he has a HS diploma.

Per the Constitution, only the Federal government can make immigration policy. Cities, counties and states do not have that authority.

By tang's "logic", which we have proven over and over and over again does not exist, since a better way of life can not be agreed upon in many places around the World, there must not be any better way.

TP's logic:
  1. Supports the constitution but wants to eliminate the electoral college and is pro sanctuary cities.
  2. Says he is Jewish when both his parents are Christian.
  3. Says he is a pacifist and devout Christian but is pro choice.
  4. Wants to cut the military budget but does not want to address entitlements.
  5. Say he is a sports journalist but considers KC at Seattle (football) to be a guaranteed win for KC with a young QB.
  6. Does not believe that most Palestinians and actually likely Muslims want all the Jews eviscerated. Needs "proof"
  7. Does not comprehend that the entities that benefited most from the ACA were the insurance companies.
  8. Says the world respected the US more with BHO at the helm. As in Benghazi, rise of Isis, Syria, Russia taking Crimea...by "respect" I believe he means "lack of fear".
  9. All for Big Gov't except for when the Gov't tells people who they can or cannot marry. Then he wants the Gov't to stay out of it.
  10. Thinks the POTUS has very little to do with the economy but ignores the new tax bill that was signed and pushed for by the POTUS, which clearly impacted the economy. Ignores Reaganomics.

Yep, this is the typical new age Democrat.

Your memory is ridiculously bad then. You agreed that if Sanders were POTUS he would probably had pushed to have lower insurance premiums for every day people vs. insurance companies being the biggest benefactors from ACA. Do you not recall that?

Do you disagree that insurance companies were the biggest benefactors from the ACA and NOT every day Americans?
