It's not just the songs, Bob's DJ banter is pretty great, too.

Here's Seth Meyers with 10 funny minutes on the recent Giuliani wackiness.

Tex mixed it up too. Holmes just outclassed him. The fight's on youtube, check it out. Even in the last round Tex was still trying to land.
That was a great fight. He was a badass....one of my favorite all time movies and scenes(end credits):

Ha, I was sure that would be a clip from Raising Arizona (AKA the best Nic Cage movie ever). Cobb was very good in that one.

OH yeah!!!! I forgot about that one! So good!

saying a movie is the best Nic Cage movie ever is not setting the bar too high, but along with Raising Arizona, you'd have to include Leaving Las Vagas.

Yeah, that was a tongue-in-cheek compliment. But I have to say, he's entertaining even in his crappiest movies. The guy has a unique and bizarre approach to acting that makes him fun to watch. Ever see The Wicker Man? Horseshit movie in every respect, and intended as a horror flick, yet I was laughing all through it. There are a few actors who make me smile no matter what they're doing: Peter Lorre, Steve Buscemi, Woody Harrelson, Benicio del Toro. Cage belongs in that group.

in his younger days cage did a few decent movies. The last several years it seems he will do just about anything to make some money (doesn't he owe a lot of back taxes or something?). I'd be embarrassed to be in some of the movies he's done.

watching netflix daredevil...best superhero show ive ever seen.......the marvel batman.
5/5/2018 12:04 PM
Serious question, dino: What do you like about the show?

I ask because I don't understand the appeal of the Superhero genre for adults. It's pretty much at the bottom of my list of genres, just above Zombie and Slasher, and just below Romantic Comedy starring Julia Roberts.

Imagine me as a crappy comic standing in front of a brick wall: "So... what's the dee-al... with superhero movies?"

Good article about McCain, who seems to be nearing the end.

Funny segment by Bill Maher last night mocking liberal snowflake movie reviewers.

the only kind of superhero shows or movies i like are ones where the heroes have limited powers......i dont like superman or hulk or avengers.
ive soured on the marvel movie franchise.....i prefer stand alone batman....captain america and thor.
i sound like a simpleton..i know.
daredevil is extremely dark...most of the scenes are shot in the dark...it is true noir.
i liked comic books as a kid......i guess i havent outgrown them if they are done well and somewhat real.......with good plots.
it is interesting that you asked because there isnt too much in the field i like anymore.....i recently gave my arrow and supergirl and flash blurays to my neighbor.
daredevil is the real thing so far.
