I agree it was not always the case but it is better than it used to be. My point is that LeBron James' kid or Ben Carson's kid probably has an advantage over some white farmer's kid in Iowa. We should base every instance on its own merits and not judge based just on race, color or gender.

you dont have to think like i do but while i am white on the outside i am neopolitan on the inside.
i was raised to see the big picture and to understand the big picture.
if i was around for the marches i would have marched.

affirmative action was..is and will continue to be a great thing.
it is pro-usa.....it makes us all great.
dont be spiteful.

Money helps, yes. But unless LeBron has a loving partner and Mother to those kids I'd bet on the Farmer's 2 parent household even IF relatively poor. NOTICE I didn't pre-judge WHAT COLOR the farmer is. Lots of good black (and brown and yellow) loving farm families out here in America these days.

I wouldn't bet a plug nickle of yours on a kid raised by Ben Carson. But that IS an opinion based on too little information about Ben Carson's REAL character.

Spiteful? No. Disagree with you 100% yes.

I was raised that my parents came here with nothing and took a huge risk. Immigrants now come here expecting something. They didn't speak the language and had to learn and survive on their feet. No one gave them anything. That is the perspective that I come from.

Cccp, you understand the difference between equal opportunity (equal school funding) and equal outcomes (AA) right?
I just told you that black kids are better off than white kids if the aforementioned black kids come from a two parent household and white kids come from a one parent household. Stop relying on the government and the schools. Rely on the parents. My kids go to fairly good schools but they learn a lot more from me. I always help them with hw and projects. If they didn't have me and or my wife they would not be doing nearly as well. Teachers can only do so much. 70% of black kids come from a one parent household. That is the main problem. 40% of white kids come from one, btw. Both should stop having kids until they are financially stable and can support them in a dual parent environment. Unless they are super rich.

I think kids with two parents have a HUGE advantage over those with just one. Forget their race, color or gender.

You are correct. This does not disprove my claim about institutional racism.

Again, you gotta understand that privledge does not mean that all white people are better off. No one is making that argument.

Yes, but I also listen and respond to others rather than just dismiss them. That is what an educated debate is. Stating that one day I will see the light is not a debate, that is just an insult.

Been a while since we've heard from the Kato Kaelin of the Trump saga. Once again, NOT an Onion story...

Trump doc says Trump bodyguard, lawyer 'raided' his office, took medical files

In February 2017, a top White House aide who was Trump's longtime personal bodyguard, along with the top lawyer at the Trump Organization and a third man, showed up at the office of Trump's New York doctor without notice and took all the president's medical records.

The incident, which Dr. Harold Bornstein described as a "raid," took place two days after Bornstein told a newspaper that he had prescribed a hair growth medicine for the president for years.

In an exclusive interview in his Park Avenue office, Bornstein told NBC News that he felt "raped, frightened and sad" when Keith Schiller and another "large man" came to his office to collect the president's records on the morning of Feb. 3, 2017. At the time, Schiller, who had long worked as Trump's bodyguard, was serving as director of Oval Office operations at the White House.

"They must have been here for 25 or 30 minutes. It created a lot of chaos," Bornstein said, who described the incident as frightening.

A framed 8x10 photo of Bornstein and Trump that had been hanging on the wall in the waiting room now lies flat under a stack of papers on the top shelf of Bornstein's bookshelf. Bornstein said the men asked him to take it off the wall.

Bornstein said he was not given a form authorizing the release of the records and signed by the president —known as a HIPAA release — which is a violation of patient privacy law. A person familiar with the matter said there was a letter to Bornstein from then-White House doctor Ronny Jackson, but didn't know if there was a release form attached.

Bornstein said the original and only copy of Trump's charts, including lab reports under Trump's name as well as under the pseudonyms his office used for Trump, were taken.

Another man, Trump Organization Chief Legal Officer Alan Garten, joined Schiller's team at Bornstein's office, and Bornstein's wife Melissa photocopied his business card. Garten declined to comment on this story.

Schiller, who left the White House in September 2017, did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Bornstein said that Trump cut ties with him after he told the New York Times that Trump takes Propecia, a drug for enlarged prostates that is often prescribed to stimulate hair growth in men. Bornstein told the Times that he prescribed Trump drugs for rosacea and cholesterol as well.

The story also quotes Bornstein recalling that he had told Rhona Graff, Trump's longtime assistant, "You know, I should be the White House physician."

After the story ran on February 1, 2017, Bornstein said Graff called him and said, "So you wanted to be the White House doctor? Forget it, you're out.' "

Two days after the story ran, the men came to his office.

"I couldn't believe anybody was making a big deal out of a drug to grow his hair that seemed to be so important. And it certainly was not a breach of medical trust to tell somebody they take Propecia to grow their hair. What's the matter with that?"

Bornstein said he is speaking out now after seeing reports that Ronny Jackson, who has allegedly been called "the candy man" for loosely prescribing pain medications as White House doctor, will not return to his post after being considered to run the Veterans Administration.

"This is like a celebration for me," he said.

Jackson has denied improperly prescribing drugs.

Bornstein, 70, had been Trump's personal doctor for more than 35 years.

During Trump's presidential campaign, Bornstein wrote a letter declaring "unequivocally" that Trump would be the healthiest president in history. He called Trump's health "astonishingly excellent." The Trump campaign released the letter in December 2015.

Bornstein told NBC News in 2016 that he wrote the note in just five minutes while a limo sent by the candidate waited outside his office.

Asked how he could justify saying Trump would be the healthiest president ever, Bornstein said, "I like that sentence to be quite honest with you and all the rest of them are either sick or dead.

Funny that this guy was Trump's doctor for 35 years and somehow didn't cotton on to the fact that his patient was a tad insecure about his hair.

By the way, Comey's been comparing Trump to a mob boss for a while. Me, I just don't see it. Who hasn't sent goons to his doctor's office to ransack the place?
