Clinton probably wishes the race was based on policy. She would have won if it was.
Yep.

2016 was about personality and the idea that Clinton couldn’t be trusted.

Ironic that to avoid an unlikeable and (perceived) corrupt Clinton, we elected Trump, the most unlikeable and corrupt president in history.

I like how he admitted yesterday that Cohen was acting as his attorney when he dealt with Stormy Daniels. Oooops.
Lol.... Yeah, Trump won because of his charming personality!!!

You libs STILL don't get why Trump won. Now that's funny.

It certainly wasn't about policy because

a) trump doesn't understand policy
b) when he stated a policy preference on the campaign, it usually wasn't conservative
c) when he later flip-flopped that policy preference, trumpcult didn't bat an eye
d) now that he is president and has consistently failed to deliver ANY meaningful policy (ACA repeal, the wall, even non-impotent tax cuts), trumpcult didn't bat an eye.

People that support trump don't care about policy. They care about celebrity. They care about "their guy" being in power.
Nope, not about policy either.

He won because people are sick of establishment politicians (on both sides, see bernie sanders popularity) telling us what we want to hear, and then doing the opposite to please their special interest friends. Trump won because people are sick of PC solutions that don't work because they don't solve any actual problem. Trump won because he was speaking to 87% of counties in the US.

The reason the polls were wrong is because they never asked the questions that mattered to those that voted Trump.... Such as how they feel about political correctness.

It's about THE FIRST TIME IN OUR LIVES a President stands up to ******** and liars and politicians and SHEEP.

so, Trump tells a group of people, who are not usually addressed during campaigns, what they want to hear, and then one he is elected, he totally screws that group of people in favor of helping his family and friends, and the sad part is that group of people doesn't care. They still think Trump is great.

I'll need specifics ... How has he screwed that group over? He put a conservative in the Supreme Court. The economy is rolling. Manufacturing jobs are actually coming back.. look it up. He passed the tax cut he promised. He is half way done repealing Obamacare. He reduced regulations as promised way more than any other president. Hell, if he gets that wall built he'll need more promises because he'd have delivered on all of them.

Let's see how those three reasons stack up now.
1. (backstabbing) The exact thing Trump has done since being in office.
2. (No PC) PC solutions? Lol. Trump has some real nice solutions. The best.
3. (counties) Oh, you mean the people who will feel the long-term negative effects of what Trump is doing the hardest and the longest?

Most of the polls were not wrong, BTW.

Yeah, but I would argue that most of his policies hit the people he promised to help the hardest. Manufacturing jobs will hurt them in the long run, tax cut does too, Obamacare helps them, rolling back regulations hurts them, and the wall hurts them.

OK, A) the polls weren't wrong. The final 12 polls of the 2016 election had Clinton up by, on average, 3 points. She won the vote by 2 points. That's pretty accurate.

B) The fact that Trump is a racist idiot without refinement doesn't mean he isn't "establishment." We know this because he packed his cabinet with people as swampy as anyone in DC. And guess what? trumpcult didn't bat an eye. Because they don't care about whether or not he is establishment. They love his celebrity.

Side question, what specific issue do you have with political correctness?
4/27/2018 6:25 PM
Trump's strategy has essentially been
1. Make up problems
2. Talk about 'solutions' to the problems that don't exist.
3. Make up things about opponents, use whataboutism, call everything opposing you 'fake news.'
4. Generate a fuckton of media attention.
5. Exploit the masses of idiots who only pay attention to what the leader says.
6. Profit.

If the polls were correct then they would have predicted Trump in a landslide. You're referring to the national polling which doesn't mean ****. State by state is, as you learned, way more important to be accurate with.

He packed his cabinet with businessmen... more than most presidents. That's a huge PLUS!!! you can call that swampy all you want but his voters, the ones you'll never understand, did not want a bunch of know nothing, self absorbed, life long politicians filling those positions. To us, that's swampy.

PC doesn't solve anything. For instance, you libs think I'm racist because I point out black on black crime is an epidemic (fact), whereas white cop shooting unarmed black man is an outlier (fact). You want to call ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS undocumented workers... they are ******* ILLEGAL (fact)!!! you like to call abortion women's rights.... Rather than **** THE BABIES RIGHTS. Have you ever seen any issue from the other side or is it easier to just stick to your comforting language like undocumented workers and women's rights to make you feel like you're in the right, so PC-like of you.

How has Trump profited? From what I hear he's being sued even more now, the media is destroying his name and credibility (i.e. his brand), hotels have removed his name from them, Nordstrom's dropped his daughters clothing line, he's losing business, he's being 'criminally' investigated by a special council.....

Do you have proof he's profiting?

WALL:
1. Make up fearmongering that immigrants are bad.
2. Wall will solve these problems
3. Everyone who opposes loves Muslims, drown out all opposition.
4. Got media attention
5. People who don't develop their own opinions take everything Trump says for granted.

1. Trump did not win in a landslide. He lost the popular vote. I honestly could not care less about the electoral vote. Clinton won. The polls were correct.
2. Define 'swampy.'
3. Black crime is not an 'epidemic', cops shooting black men is not an 'outlier', I don't want to call them undocumented workers, your position on abortion is actually the PC one, and I do see issues from both sides.

BTW you aren't racist for your comments on black people, you are just ignorant.
