One of the reasons I thought he had no chance in the election was because of the never trumpers. The GOP party was definitely divided. I still cannot believe he won. It illustrates the terrible candidate that the Dems ran.

Worth noting that the Dems were split too. I contemplated voting 4th party, or doing a protest vote. Then I chose the lesser of two evils, Clinton. She still was a dreadful candidate though.

Yes, I knew the Dems were sort off divided too. But I thought the GOP was an utter mess. I voted for DJT partly as a protest vote to those that call me privileged for being white among other issues but I also knew my vote was meaningless. Funny how about 60 million others did something similar....

I generally try to support people in charge who have a military background. That IMO should be a requirement to be POTUS as you are the Commander in Chief of the greatest army in the world. The fact that this is not required is bananas.
