President Donald Trump is not alone in thinking media outlets spread "fake news."

More than 3-in-4 of 803 American respondents, or 77 percent, said they believe that major traditional television and newspaper media outlets report “fake news,” according to a Monmouth University poll released Monday, marking a sharp increase in distrust of those news organizations from a year ago, when 63 percent registered concerns about the spread of misinformation.

^^^Looks like more #WINNING

What is 'fake news'?
Does it matter? If 77% of people believe that the major news outlets report 'fake news' that's a REALLY bad perception for them to have since credibility is everything to them.
So it only matters what the people think over what is actually fact or not.

In other words, you, moy, are fake news.
What good are the facts if people think they are fake? Trump took on the media and won.
So you are politicizing facts. Facts are ******* facts. If the NYT said that Trump was gay with Mike Pence and everyone started believing that, it doesn't mean that that is a fact. You are bordering 1984 Orwellian status here.

Those ******* facts can be manipulated. In you're example it's a fact the NYT said that Trump was gay with Mike Pence...

CNN Headline: TRUMP IS GAY WITH MIKE PENCE

CNN Story: Sources say Trump is gay with Mike Pence. They claim that Pence was seen entering the presidential suite at 2am while Melania was in New York. This isn't the first time the two men have been together. Pence was also present at the Trump inauguration back in January of 2017.

Technically everything I just wrote is FACT. Sources would be the NYT. The fact they made claims was factual, even if the claims themselves were not. It is a fact pence was at the inauguration.

The headline is deceitful... The ******* facts are strung together to make the entire narrative seem factual as in Trump really is gay with pence (which is NOT a fact in any of this). #FAKENEWS

Exactly. The claim is not factual. I 100% agree with that, and if CNN titled their article that, then that is fake news. But your point is that it doesn't matter whether something is factual or not, as long as most people agreed with it. I brought up that example because, according to your logic, if most people agreed that Trump was gay with Pence then ot should be regarded as fact. It goes the other way too. If something is fact, it doesn't matter what the people think. Facts are facts.

Giuliani was asked about crime at the RNC, where he was confronted with the FACT that crime is down in America under Obama. He responded by saying that PEOPLE THINK THAT IT ISN'T. He basically was arguing that because the people FEEL like they are not as safe, the country isn't safe. Which is bullshit because, statistically, factually, the country is safer. If FOX made an article saying that PEOPLE ARE NOT SAFE UNDER OBAMA, that is fake news too.

The left will respond to that with "we kick our sexual abusers out of office", but if you really pay attention they only kick them out when it benefits them. It wasn't until Clinton was of no use to the party anymore, after Hillary lost, that they finally started saying he was trash for what he did.
And they are reluctantly booted out, even after there's PROOF.
I mean, ofc it's reluctant, but 30 SOMETHING DEMOCRATS called for Franken to leave. That's a big deal compared to the Reps actively supporting a President who has been PROVEN to have done sexual misconduct and a Candidate who has been accused by dozens of people.
What PROOF for Trump? Be specific.

And Moore... What PROOF is there other than he said she said (which is not proof)?

Franken had a photo of him sexually harassing tweeden. That's specific.

Conyers had settlement cases paid out for sexual harassment (with tax payer money I may add). Again, specific.

The new one yesterday is Alcee Hastings paid $220k in taxpayers money to settle sexual harassment cases... Another Democrat.

Btw - all these events happened well into the 2000s..... Not in the 1970's
BILLY BUSH TAPE (btw that's better evidence against trump than there is against franken.)

There isn't. But when you have multiple people claiming that I would assume that it is true about Moore. Come on, now, be logical.

Yeah, Democrats have bad stains, but I GUARANTEE YOU all 3 are gonna get removed.
I posted the transcript from the Billy Bush tape. WHO SPECIFICALLY DID TRUMP SEXUALLY HARASS? WHAT LINE(S) SPECIFICALLY INCRIMINATE TRUMP?

Re: Moore - you're right... THERE ISN'T any proof. Lot's of people get accused of things that aren't true... like Kobe Bryant and Patrick Kane of rape... and in the end it's PROVEN untrue. When there is PROOF against Moore I will sing a different tune. Not before that, though.

Re: All 3 dems getting removed... I will tell you why... THERE IS PROOF IN ALL 3 CASES!!!
Alcee Hastings reminds me of a certain orange fella

The media doesn't have a point, which is Trump's entire plan. This isn't based on fact or fiction. It is based on trying to convince the public that one cannot trust the media. And if you cannot trust the media, the only way to get news is from Trump himself. Sad indeed. Orwellian even.

Yep. He's the subject of an investigation. Not yet a target for prosecution.

From the US Attorney's Manual:

A "target" is a person as to whom the prosecutor or the grand jury has substantial evidence linking him or her to the commission of a crime and who, in the judgment of the prosecutor, is a putative defendant.

A "subject" of an investigation is a person whose conduct is within the scope of the grand jury's investigation.
