On a personal level. At it's barest. Isn't it the same thing? Trying to learn from your past.......the mistakes, dumb decisions, bad moves, etc. that you've made...... the whole idea (IMO) is to not make the same mistakes twice............. or at LEAST not over and over and over again.

Yes, but I can learn about history via the Internet and books. I don't need to study it for four years in college is my argument on the matter.

i had several history courses in college...my favorite time spent in college...very very rewarding......esp in deph analysis and dialogue........of course it isnt all history and the history was variety.
my 2 favorite courses were 2 african american history courses.

I am not sure what you guys are doing. He won the election. If that upsets you, I am sorry. But he won. He is also doing what he promised he would do during the election. Including exiting the TPP, building the wall, more funding for the military, lowering taxes. I get that you are upset about the result of the election but this is just over the top complaining over an election result. President Trump is the same guy as candidate Trump. To me it looks like you are complaining about the election results...still.
