Not at all. The current setup gives a voice to the entire country instead of a few heavily populated pockets.

im worried about mcmaster getting fired and replaced by bolton.......many consider bolton to be a dangerous hawk with no restaraint........he and trump together could be scary.
3/16/2018 10:17 AM
the root of a lot of firings going on is trump's wish to breach the iran deal and to bomb north korea and to have yes men around him........this is the real serious stuff......he wants to surround himself with very hawkish people...bolton.....pompeo over tillerson......the torture lady for cia........writing is on the wall....it is one thing to be a hawk but another to be an impulsive hawk without intellect.
this is really serious stuff...stormy is fun but danger - will robinson - danger !!

If the rules were a popular vote then candidates would campaign differently. You cannot just change the rules. Its like saying from now on whomever gains the most yards wins not most points. Teams and strategies would need to be redone in football. If tang the moron had it his way then Wyoming and Montana would be worthless. NY, Cali, TX, OH and FLA would decide every election. The electoral college still gives those states way more votes than the smaller ones.

The best candidate was not Kasich. It was Carson IMO. Sanders was the worst. Free tuition. LOL. Let's send more people to college who don't want to go.

quietly the dems are making changes to the role of super delegates......a lot of us were burned up over them.

i think kasich could run as a third party......if trump is able to run.
unless things change drastically a moderate republican cannot win the primaries.

Explain to me how Ben Carson, who never held a governmental position and who he himself said he really wasn't even qualified to serve in a cabinet position, was more qualified than Kasich:

An Ohio state senator, 9 terms serving in the US HoR, 18 years on the House Armed Services committee, 6 years chairman of the house budget committee, 2 terms as Ohio Governor.

I admit the resumes are close, Carson did some great surgeries involving conjoined twins and gave a great conservative speech at the National Prayer Breakfast one year, and he survived cancer.

You gotta say that Kasich is just SLIGHTLY more qualified to be president though, don't you?

Exept the people not in the pockets have more power than those inside of it. How is that fair?

ben carson was not qualified for hud and is on the chopping block.

I agree with CCCP. I was a big Carson supporter. I like Kasich.

As far as the push for everyone to go to college in America, I think it's absurd. College does very little to prepare people for the real world. I think it's highly overvalued and apprenticeships/internships are highly undervalued. As a rule, I am not a fan of formal post-secondary education. There are obvious exceptions. I don't want someone cutting me open with a HS education, but I guarantee you I know more about business than most business majors.

Yeah, yiu can change the rules. It haa been done before. And again, why should it matter which state someone is from? If I moved to Wyoming, I would have far more electoral power than I do here. Why is that fair?

You know that free tuition doesn't mean that people who don't want to go to college will go, right? And why is more people getting college educated a bad thing?

It is fine to think that, but the fact of the matter is that businesses require college diplomas for a lot of high paying jobs.
