what reasons do you have for thinking Pence and Carson are decent people?

Any moral leader with the knowledge of Trump's lies and personal hypocrisy who, rather than stand up and tell the truth, stands by and casts (fake?) adoring (lapdog gazes) worshipful nods of assent as Pence does has demonstrated enough lack of spine and honesty to convince me he's NO decent person!

As to Carson............ he was fine as long as you gave him the time...... oh wait, you mean the "brain surgeon"............ well, he seems decent enough, but golly................ he's not getting near my head........... nor my pocketbook!

Honestly, I can't say whether either of them are good people. We really can't judge anyone that we don't personally know with some exceptions. Trump's scum. That's an easy one. I'm not sure he has ever even really denied this. As far as Carson and Pence, they have both taken strides to protect their reputation. People have to search hard to truly find transgressions of these two. Pence was criticized by the left because he made efforts not to put himself in compromising situations with woman. What irony. I have yet to see anything on Carson that would imply otherwise. People knocked him for wanting too expensive of a dining room set. I agree that it was stupid for him to ask for that, but if that's all you have on someone, they're doing okay. It appears on the surface that people's only gripe with these two is that they work under Trump. Personally, I want a guy like Trump surrounded by classy people.

Let's be real. BHO's cabinet wasn't exactly filled with Saints. He hired HRC and Loretta Lynch.
