I think there are those in the US that share some of those qualities and if so then so be it. You won't change them by yelling at them. If you for example hated Jews, I would not try to convince you not to hate them. I would just stay away from you. You are entitled to your opinion. I am pretty sure America is a melting pot, it has made significant strides in terms of race equality and gender equality. As far as Islam. I leave you with this.

You have a legitimate understanding of what most 'leftists' think on, at best, 6 of those things. Most of them are a very small fraction of the population. I wouldn't say that a critique of Republicans would be that they are all racist and in the KKK, because that is a small part of the population. If you label people like BL, Wylie, Bob, and I as 'leftist' (as you have) then that is not an accurate depiction of the majority of leftists. If you say just people like RCBracco, then, well, you have a point.

BTW you are doing more stereotyping with the Islam one. We have established this. Countries bad. Individual people may not share those beliefs.

i dont apply any list of attributes to republicans.......they just vote wrong.

I don't either, because I don't like to stereotype large groups of people into a certain narrative, especially if that group is diverse, without proof. It's the same reason I hate the medias coverage of millennials. We are the largest, and most diverse generation ever yet we are categorized as if we are all one person. Sad.

I don't consider myself a "leftist" whatever that actually is, but here's how I address these issues.

1. I always tell my kids that winning is great, but as long as they give their best effort, that is what is most important. If that means "everyone wins" so be it.
2. I'm a minority and don't consider myself a victim, so obviously not.
3. I don't care what you assume about genders. To me its not worth yelling about.
