The Interior Department plans to spend more than $139,000 on new doors and repairs for Sec. Ryan Zinke's office at the department's headquarters in Washington, D.C., the agency confirmed to ABC News on Thursday.

The purchase is the latest in a series of questionable agency expenses connected to President Donald Trump's cabinet leaders. Last week the Department of Housing and Urban Development canceled an order for a $31,000 dining set for Sec. Ben Carson's office suite.

Federal contracting records show that the Interior Department signed an order for $139,669.68 described only as "Secretary's Door" on Nov. 6 of last year. The order was supposed to be completed by the end of that month but was later amended to be completed by the end of January.

New peril for moderate Dems: Voters happy with Trump's economy

Half of all voters in the 10 states that voted for Trump but have Democratic senators say the economy is better off now than it was a year ago, according to new Axios/SurveyMonkey polls. And in nine of the states majorities approve of the GOP tax law.

No one cares about those polls.

Moy, you like to complain about the media, so... in a perfect (but realistic)world, what would the media be like?

As unbiased as possible. Reporting facts on both sides not just those that fit their narrative. Actually verifying facts too, not just regurgitating another news station's unverifed speculation. Remember when investigative journalists actually used to try to get to the truth? Those were the days. honest headlines would be a nice treat, too.

Should all do it the way Fox does, right moy?

I'm not a fan of fox either. The whole industry is guilty.

The only difference between the media and bloggers used to be that the media was credible.... That's not true anymore

Yeah but how? As we have established REPORTING FACTS CAN BE CONSIDERED BIASED!

It's easy.... You used to do it in school when you'd write a paper. Opening paragraph, two paragraphs about what you think happened, one paragraph of what critics think, closing paragraph.

it'll never happen though. There media makes money by entertaining than by actually reporting.

The media has discredited themselves... Especially when they are feeding a presidential candidate debate questions ahead of a national debate. They've picked their sides already.

It's called an 'argumentative essay' where you make an argument for a certain point. Basically, the most biased thing that exists.

I agree. News is way too based on entertainment vs information. In the media we hylerbole and exaggerate. THAT'S the media bias.
